I feel like I need to start this off with a big fat “Fuck You” to jkr. Everything I make is in spite of her and I solely support the Hp universe that the Fandom made its own, in whatever form that may be. Do with that what you will, I just needed to say it for my own conscience.

now, with all that Nasty out of the way, I really loved Metalomagnetic’s “It runs in the Blood” ( @metalomagnetic ) far too much to not show some appreciation! It's really amazing and genuinely one of the (if not THE) best fic(’s) I ever read on Ao3.

The writing is fabulous, the characters are all well rounded and have so much depth and their own quirks and goals and all that good stuff. ALSO the beautifully executed character development? The way the Author took Canon and just made it their own like it's easy?? Peak. That and the absolutely flawless, top tier humour that never comes off forced and just tickles my brain SO WELL. Or those little things, tiny moments that just bring the whole worldbuilding together so well? Just-how??

Really, it's yaw-droppingley beautiful and fucked up and it just kept me engaged till the very end and it's all around so awesome. This story alone would make me belief magic exists, because how else could anything be this good??

I could go on like this, but I don't think anyone wants to hear me swooning my way into an early grave. I hope I managed to capture at least a fracture of what that fic did to my heart in my art :)

So much love to the author, I'm very excited for the next chapter!
