Y'all, I'm losing my mind. @staff actually used copywrited material as in their official tutorial on how to set up their paid nonsense blog:

Plus they absolutely made it real that you cannot block people who are paying you. They seemed to have changed the wording a bit from the other post I saw flying around, but yeah, it's true.

Let the harrasment begin, I guess.

Every time I go to queue something from the bottom of my drafts in the app, it flings me back up to the top of my drafts. And that’s if it doesn’t crash first.

Every time I go to queue something from my drafts via browser, it hides a post between pages, including potentially the post I was looking for.

If I make or reblog a post in the app, I can’t edit in browser, and editing in the app has turned the OP’s comments into my own on at least one occasion.

When I search tags on any blog, there’s a good chance several posts will fail to appear. I know this because I can check on the app and browser and always get more results in browser.

Once a post has been on tumblr long enough, it totally vanishes from the search engine and can never be found again except through blogs.

Every day I report and block an average 1-6 porn bots that have followed me and cannot be blocked unless I go to their blog, potentially endangering my blog or device; that have spammed any number of tags I like to check; or have replied to popular posts propositioning people and offering to be sugar daddies.

Rather than fix any of this, though, instead we’re going to go ahead and ask tumblr users to trust this site with sensitive banking information and create all new ways of potentially harassing each other or creating lawsuits.

Sounds about right.

i’m like actually worried about tumblr getting shut down. like please this is the last form of social media that i genuinely enjoy looking through. facebook? haven’t used it in years. instagram? never post. twitter? i use it but it’s depressing as hell more times than not.
