There's a scene where Mad March discovered someone covering the tracks from the trap. Do you know where to watch/find it online? I can't find it anywhere..
I just reblogged three posts from @thehauntingofblogmanor with deleted scenes — hopefully it’s in one of those!

I really enjoyed doing a 'one drawing a week' challenge a couple years ago. Maybe I shoud try it again 🤔 The ones based on my favorite Alice in Wonderland adaptations were my favorite, I think.

'Madder than a Hatter' Chapter 9: when we all fall asleep, where do we go?
Ao3
She was in the Looking Glass Hall, standing before the mirror, when she spotted him. Hatter. He had been a little gruff at first, but she had later learned that he possessed a warm heart and had a charming disposition. As they stumbled their way through an awkward goodbye, Alice felt the physical pressure of her heartache. He wasn’t going to start a new life in her world, and he clearly didn’t want her to stay. She felt tears spring to her eyes, but held back, promising herself a time to break down in the safety of her bedroom late at night.
Between her missed chance at love (twice,) and the loss of her father, Alice wasn’t so sure there would be enough time in the world to heal her wounds. She attempted a final time to get her point across. “You could always visit my world,” she suggested. “You might like it.”
“Yeah,” Hatter exclaimed. “We could…we could do pizza.”
Her eyes bore into his, her next words spoken huskily. “And lots of other things.”
Before she knew it, she was falling, thankful for the technician’s urgency. She knew she probably wouldn’t have been able to leave without that little push. It was time to brace herself for the landing.
.
.
Alice woke, gasping for air as if it had been knocked out of her. The memories continued to hit her, once faint echoes, now vivid as the rich colors of the autumn leaves. Tears slid down her cheeks, and she wiped at them roughly. Her heart hammered in her chest, nearly as loud as the thunder that grew closer and closer. “Hatter,” she cried to herself. Even in her dreams, he had continued to save her.
She slipped out of bed and stepped closer to the window. The winds were strong, bending the twisty branches of the tumtum trees. Leaves were torn away, lost to the current. She turned away, quietly padding her way out of her room and across the hall. For a moment, she raised her hand to knock, but thought better of it, instead quietly opening the door and stepping into the room.
Her heart swelled just as it did the first time she had taken in how peaceful he looked as he slept. “How could I have forgotten you?” she whispered to herself. Alice slipped into bed beside him, careful not to jostle the mattress too much. Facing him, she tucked her hand beneath her head upon the pillow. “Goodnight, Hatter.”
As her eyes closed, she felt him jostle a bit, hoping she hadn’t woken him. Before she could open her eyes to see for herself, Alice felt his arm sling over her waist, pulling her closer to him until there was hardly any space between them.
“You remembered,” he said sleepily. Hatter pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “G’night, Alice.”
Snuggling in closer, she allowed herself to drift off safely in his arms.
.
.
The Queen of Souls looked upon the palace. It was past midnight. The winds were strong, the storm nearly there, following her soon-to-be destruction of Wonderland. It was proving to be most difficult to rip out the three souls she most wanted, asleep for the moment. She knew she had to change tactics, but there was at least one part of her original plan she could carry out. Why only rule The Wastelands when she could have all of Wonderland? If she played her cards right, she would become unstoppable.
There, in the darkness, she awaited her biggest pawn. When Catherine finally showed up, she hissed. “Nicccceee of you to arrive. Shall we get on with it?”
They prepared to storm the palace.
.
.
Hatter couldn’t quite sleep knowing Alice had her memory back. He wanted to tell her all of the things he should have said in the Looking Glass Hall. Instead, he gently brushed her back with his fingers, noting just how peaceful she looked. He wondered if she had all of her memories back of her time in Wonderland or just a select important few. Regardless, he was thankful that she had chosen to sleep beside him, whether out of comfort or safety.
She began to squirm in her sleep, leading her to eventually open her eyes; crystal blue meeting warm brown. Hatter had his head propped up with his free arm. “Hey, you,” she smiled. “Can’t sleep?”
“How could I? You’re much too distracting,” he teased with a dimpled smirk. His face then turned serious. “I’m glad you remember. I thought, perhaps, you had had too much chocolate and cream cake.”
A small laugh bubbled up inside her. She felt her heart hammering in her chest, tears welling up in her eyes. Emotions flooded back instantaneously, overwhelming her. Alice embraced him, never wanting to let go again. He stopped brushing her hair, slid his arm down around her waist, and held her tightly. “I missed you,” she told him.
“I missed you too,” he confessed, savoring the moment.
When she pulled back enough to see the relief, the happiness, on his face, she gasped as he pressed his lips to hers. Hatter kissed her so fiercely, as if he was afraid it would be the last time they would ever be together. It soon softened to a caress, his tongue slipping through to meet hers. Alice’s toes curled beneath the duvet, her fingers buried in his unkempt hair.
With hesitance, they parted, but only enough to breathe. Their noses still touching, and Alice took a moment to nuzzle his with hers. “Finally,” she smiled.
Hatter gave a short laugh in agreeance. “Alice…I—“
Thunder shook the entire palace. There were screams down below in the throne room.
Of bloody course, he thought.
“Hatter?” she prompted him. “We should save that for when we’re safe.”
Hearing his own words to her echoed at him, his frustration mellowed out. “Okay.”
.
.
Jack Heart stood before his aunt and her shadowy ally, sword in hand. The room was full of Suits surrounding the scene. “If you want this throne, you’re going to have to go through me.”
Up above, looking over the railing, was Duchess, fear in her eyes. “Jack, no.”
Hatter, Alice, and Charlie stood around her, witnessing the scene. “Is he crazy???” Alice whispered loud enough for the other three to hear.
Catherine cackled. “Foolish boy, you have no power here.”
Alice thought for a moment. “Okay, I think I have a plan,” she told them. This had their attention. “It’s not very practical, but it’s something.”
“Go on luv, what did ya have in mind?” Hatter asked.
Alice took a deep breath. “Hatter, you said that the Bandersnatch is a shadow-eater, right?”
He nodded.
“Alice, my dear, are you suggesting that we somehow smuggle the Bandersnatch out of the Wastelands?” Charlie asked. “I’m up to the task, of course, but will we have time before our King is slain?”
“We can’t just let Jack die,” Duchess insisted. “I won’t allow it.”
“He won’t die,” Alice assured her. “She needs three souls to become flesh and blood again, and she wants us three in particular. If Charlie is on his way to the Wastelands in a scarab, that buys us time. And, it gives us a weapon we can use against her.”
Hatter shook his head. “And what about Catherine? She could just as easily kill him.”
“That’s why I’m going to distract her. She wants me dead more than Jack,” Alice explained.
“Absolutely not! Are you mad!?” Hatter argued, fighting to keep his voice lowered.
“Do you have any better ideas?” she asked.
He sighed as he turned away and turned back, unwilling to cooperate. “Whatever the plan, we do it together, Alice. You and I.” His face dropped. “I can’t lose you again. I’m not going to sit back and watch, waiting to see if you’re okay.”
She fought back the tears that pricked at the corners of her eyes. Taking hold of his hand, she replied, “Together.”
As they quickly discussed what was to be done, not one soul noticed the disembodied grin of a most mischievous feline.

Hatter is such a loser i want to see that little pout he does and take his face in my hands and squish his cheeks together till he looks like an adorable outraged fish. The longer he puts up with it the more little kisses he gets.
He doesnt put up with it for long. Shame.

Anybody remember 2009 Syfy Alice? I was obsessed with it as a preteen/teenager. Screencaps of Andrew Lee Potts in the movie were my laptop background (that one where he was in that green room with mad march, all bruised and beat up was a favorite it was so attractive,, no one psychoanalyze me) i was in LOVE
Anyway, if anyone wants to request Hatter x reader of some kind or u want a Hatter x OC LET ME KNOW because I've decided I'll write for him. But I need requests! Ideas! Even if u just want to gush about him in my inbox that would be great
Please I can't be the only one who was obsessed with that loser
