Y2K Inspired Street Styles in Harajuku Japan, Summer 2022

On a recent Sunday in Harajuku, twelve Japanese & Korean friends held a “Y2K Code” day. “Code” is short for “Dress Code” in Japanese, meaning they all dressed up in Y2K inspired (FRUiTS Magazine era) styles and met up in Harajuku for fun, food, purikura, and shopping. How long do you think Luz tried to find another entrance at the Emperor's castle? How long did it take for her to get frustrated and walk home? Maybe it’s just my angst loving ass but I would’ve LOVED to see Steven realize what he had done. Like Jasper isn’t fighting anymore so he must’ve poofed her, right? His pink hue fading away as he floats down to see the massive crater he created. He didn’t see her poof cloud but maybe he was caught up in the moment he didn’t notice it. Him breathing heavily as he slides down to see her gem in pieces. He stares at it, horrified. On the verge of panic attack he scrambles to pick up every shard. He needs to fix this! He has to fix this! What’s has he done?! He starts to spiral as he struggles to come up with a solution.

Steven Cutie Pie Quartz Demayo Diamond Universe, for the love of GOD talk to someone. Steven really out here trying every coping mechanism instead of facing his emotions head on, huh? Instead of letting the gems in, he puts a wall between them. Literally. And runs away to be alone. But not completely alone because he can’t be completely alone because he craves guidance! Leaving him to train with JASPER! My hermit wife!! And introduces him to yet another unhealthy coping mechanism and sprinkled anger issues on the Steven Sadness Cake! (Eminem: I’ve created a monsta) Jasper lead Steven to channel his emotions into some super saiyan unstoppable force while beating up Jasper. And he was genuinely ENJOYING IT! Being able to just go full feral and not worrying about holding back or hurting others. He lost himself and thought Jasper could handle it. I mean she’s a Gem war veteran! She’s fought gems before, surely fighting a diamond with unstable powers will end well. Then he took it too far, pushed too hard. She called him MY DIAMOND AND FUCKING TOOK A KNEE!! What the fuck?!? WHAT THE FUCK?!? UNIVERSE......................... ................................................................................................................................Okay so first off loving how we are getting more background on Greg before he became Mr. Universe! Firstly I understand Greg did everything in his power to not be like his parents. Poor thing probably went through a lot in a very toxic and controlling environment. Not knowing his self because he was riding backseat in his own life. And by the look of his haircut, his parents wanted him to join the military or maybe it was just a cruel punishment. I can see his parents taking away his door and some other extreme punishments as well. But Greg sweetie, ya done fucked up! In your quest to insure Steven grew up with freedom, he didn’t have anything to build from. Steven needed stability, he needed to understand both sides of himself! He had a whole ass existential crisis! He was mostly raised by gems that were incompetent towards human and kept singing his mother’s praises. Not to mention, Steven was taught and trained to become a child solider and take on and help other people’s burdens like his mother. While running from his own problems and struggling with his self. Like his mother. Steven is out of control and needs guidance. Guidance he wasn’t able to get when he was a child because neither Greg or the gems didn’t understood him. And the fact Steven just disassociate when Greg continues to be positive it’s just- UGH IT HURTS! He fucked up! He flipped a car, Greg! Tell him he fucked up! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! REBECCA, IF THIS BOI DOESN’T GET THERAPY, I WILL GO FERAL!
