As a young child, Mao was born with a strange condition that allows her to change her vocal cords. This caused her to get some flak from other students, but potential on making her ability a career. Though instead, an invitation to Hope’s Peak Academy would show up, and she would accept the offer immediately. She is a quite eccentric person, but that too can turn others away by her annoyance. Hopefully, Mao will do her best to make others smile with her skills.
