UPDATE ON STUFF!!

I have NOT watched season 2 of Alice in Borderland, I have NOT finished watching Mirai Nikki, I DID watch a few episodes of the anime Deadman Wonderland, which I have opinions on, and I probably won't finish watching unless you guys want a review. I HAVE recently realized some time over this mysterious and sudden hiatus, that I may be autistic. Yes. I, the Death Game Enthusiast, the person who created a whole blog just so that I could talk about this one specific and morbid interest of mine, is autistic. Who would have guessed.

IN OTHER NEWS!!! I have started playing Your Turn To Die, and my sleep schedule has taken a turn for... nocturnal. This is my new favorite game. It's such a simple concept, but IT HURTS!!! Every time I open the game, I start crying and then I don't stop, it's amazing. I would go SO MUCH MORE into the psychology and despair and stuff but this is an UPDATE POST! Also... I have not finished the game yet. I am only on chapter two. It is 3:48 AM. As soon as I finish this post, I should go to sleep. Will I actually go to sleep? That is... another question.

Wait what the hell happens in blue lock I thought it was just. Intense football anime.

If they get eliminated, they're never allowed to play soccer professionally again for the rest of their lives, and for people like these who are so passionate about soccer, a loss of their career is a fate equal to or worse than death, meaning the penalty for losing is bad enough to qualify it as a "death game", even if no one actually dies

I have just finished watching season one of Alice in Borderland! I haven't been this excited for a second season of anything in a while. I read the manga first, but only up to about where the last episode leaves off. I think with this new blog, I'll have to motivation to actually finish watching some shows! So... please, await my more elaborate review next week! Until then!

Good afternoon, morning, evening, or whatever time of day it may be for you right now! Today I'm thinking about Among Us. Yes, you heard me right, Among Us! A neat little death game simulator that fits right in your pocket, at least, before it was overrun by 5 year olds, trolls, and hackers. I, the Death Game Enthusiast, have felt saddened by the potential gone to waste by such a game! Alas! Now there can never again be a Death Game set in space without it being compared to Among Us! But think about it! Reeeeaaally think about it! A crew in trapped in space, ship broken, one of their trusted crewmates a murderous alien! Sounds intriguing, no? I, the Death Games Enthusiast, judge death games by their concept and story, not by their fandom.

Death Game of the Week!

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc

The first game in the Danganronpa series, a classic death game! 15 students trapped together in a school, forced to kill each other in order to escape and hold trials to find the killers.

Character review: Amazing! Wonderful! There isn't a single character in this game that I dislike!

Bad things: too many sexual jokes, inaccurate depiction of Dissociative Identity Disorder (I, the Death Game Enthusiast, do not tolerate ableism)

Overall review: Outstanding game! Not the best in the series, but the first. It sets the world and story well, and the gameplay itself is fun, and there are various difficulty levels for my less skilled gamers out there. The characters' personalities and stories are compelling, and the storywriting and plot plays with your emotions the whole game. Excellent game, a must-play for my fellow death game enthusiasts!

It just makes me so sad to see people who don't understand death games... I was reading a death game webtoon the other day, this wonderful series called Attention Residents (haven't finished it yet, darn daily pass...) and I kept seeing comments in the earlier episodes saying "oh it reminds me of sweet home" "it reminds me of squid game" "it doesn't make any sense"...

This was just one reason that inspired me to create this blog, I, the (self-proclaimed) #1 death game expert and fan, must bring wisdom and knowledge to the people!
