The pink triangle was a symbol used in Nazi concentration camps to identify gay/queer/trans individuals, who were also targeted during the Holocaust. Okay, like I appreciate the post, but y’all need to stop with the “get ready to move somewhere else.” Because it’s just not productive. Make it a clear point to be like, “if it gets passed there, what’s stopping them from trying to pull that shit in Florida? Louisiana? Montana?”. That is exactly why this is a national issue. It’s a litmus test. If it passes, it signals for them to try it in other states. For those who are less informed about trans issues, bring up the fact how it’s restricting the bodily autonomy of grown-ass adults. Completely bypasses the whole “they’re mutilatin’ the children!” propaganda talking point. Because it was never about the children.
