The first question I have is if you have anyone you would consider a 'rival', or perhaps hold a grudge against within Mann Co.

The second question - perhaps an easier one to answer at that - is about magic. I personally am not well versed in anything magic (and personally less so interested after being informed about the man calling himself Merasmus), but I've noticed one of you uses various different equipment, while the other simply uses a staff. Is there any particular reason behind these differences?"

The Mage Class! BLU, Classic and RED. A support class that can enchants their teammates with spells to upgrade their performance or curse their enemies with great misfortune.

Short intros to each member:

Jasper Rodríguez | Any Pronouns

Its family’s only sorcerer in 6 generations, Jasper uses its gift to support and protect its community back at Trinidad, Cuba. Being magical doesn’t pay the bills, but killing some guys over a pile of gravel sure does! It finds that very funny.

Serpentine | He/Him

An old rival of Jasper’s back when it was studying basic magic at his wizard school. Serpentine was an unknowing apprentice to a great, evil wizard [not Merasmus] that threatened to take over the world. After Jasper defeated him and greatly injured Serpentine, he had made it his life goal to get his revenge against the sorcerer. Their meeting in TF2 was by pure coincidence, though. He needed a job.

Anastasia | She/Her

The Mage of Team Classic. She went missing some time before the team’s disbandment, presumably dead. But when a curious sorcerer traced the magic from a dusty hat all the way to the Russian mountains, all of a sudden, she’s back. Returning with them to Teufort, she seeks answers for what happened while she was gone.
