Jonny’s done one last check (after the last last check) and turned out the lights. And with a sigh he locks the back door of Hellbenders and with that he’s (hopefully) locked out any thoughts relating to that place until the next shift.

And then he hears “Hey darlin’” 

He sighs again, lighter this time before he turns around to find Lucas leaning against his bike.

And that will help with keeping any thoughts relating to Hellbenders locked out. 

“Hey,” 

Lucas crosses the short distance between them and Jonny pulls him into his arms and Lucas chuckles as he presses a kiss to the top of his head there’s a soft warmth that runs through him that makes him feel dangerously soft but by this point he’s used to it and even would maybe admit he likes it. 

“Should I even ask?” Lucas grins up at him with his arms wrapped around Jonny’s shoulders.

“Ask what?” He rests his hands on Lucas’ hips and he’s now at the point he doesn’t hesitate when he does that. 

“How work was,” Lucas grins up at him. Jonny snorts, “Talking about that is the last thing I want to do,” “That bad huh?”

“It… it wasn’t bad I just I don’t want to talk about that,”

“What do you want then?” Lucas rises up on his toes.

“Kiss me,” Jonny breathes as he grabs his hips tighter, “I want you to kiss me,”

And Lucas does. 

And as he does Jonny feels whatever it is that sparks that feeling deep down that makes everything but… this melt away. He sighs against Lucas’ soft and warm lips and feels his hand tangle into the back of his hair as Lucas moulds against him. 

And maybe this would’ve been enough. One kiss.

But who is he kidding, that’s never enough. There’s something deep down in him that wants more, more, more. And if he was thinking harder he’d probably think taking a few steps until his back hits the wall of Hellbenders and Lucas chuckles breathlessly against his lips was not the best idea.

But he’s not thinking harder as he takes a few steps until his back hits the wall of Hellbenders and Lucas chuckles breathlessly against his lips. And then Lucas gasps as Jonny shifts their positions until Lucas has his back against the wall with his hands pinned above his head. 

And Jonny kisses him.

Hard. 

And Lucas gives a needy whine.

And he moans against Lucas’ soft, warm lips as he feels him slip a leg between his thighs as he kisses him before he lets go of his hands as he grabs Lucas’s face with shaky hands as he kisses him again.

They part with shaky breaths and Jonny swallows hard. 

Lucas grins as he grabs him by the lapels of his jacket and pulls him into another kiss, soft and teasing.

“I think it’s about time we go home,”

And then Lucas gently pokes him on the tip of the nose with a chuckle.

Roach continues. "We'll have to watch out for any news about a—what did they call you? Oh, yes…" Their arm slips off the costume, leaving the panther's arm boneless on the table like a dead snake. Roach bucks up their hips as they search around for something. A yellowish clipping pops out of the costume, just in front of their face, and they read it with crossed eyes. "A storm."

Been replaying @the-passenger-if lately as I was in a mood to make some tiny silly dolls again and thought C.C. and Roach would be fun little project, and they have been so far~~ <3 Also, wanted to doodle C.C. again and this clearly got away from me big time. ^^; Oh well, it was fun.

What is a phobia of theirs?

Scout: They're not the biggest fan of crowds, doubly so when you find yourself separated from the person you're with

Lucas: He'd argue it's not a phobia he's just sensibly cautious about it but he does not trust escalators.

Do they have a superstition or belief? Such as “black cats bring bad luck”, belief in ghosts, tarot, crystals, meditation, etc.

Ok so for this one I'll answer together because they have fairly similar stances.

Like they exist in a bit of a weird spot where they themselves are like depending on how you view it technically supernatural beings so they don't deny the supernatural exists but it's also like the way humans seem to interpret things is a bit... off but also with their time on earth some of that has kind of leaked in as background radiation but I'd say neither of them are that superstitious but also sometimes... sometimes you just have to wonder even if you yourself are a supernatural being

Another very old prompt out of the way Lucas and Jonny are being soft must be a day with a Y in it @the-passenger-if

He’s cute when he’s asleep. 

And Jonny would probably argue with him but he’s also cute when he’s awake. 

Lucas finds himself again lost in taking in all the details of Jonny’s face. He sighs softly and dares to gently brush a lock of Jonny’s brown hair away from his forehead, and Jonny doesn’t stir.

He doesn’t want to move, not yet.

And it’s not as if he could right now anyway. 

Jonny’s long limbs are wrapped pretty tightly around him. And Lucas does feel a bit like a fly cocooned by a spider at this moment. But he’s content to submit himself to this fate and he won’t be going, “Help me, help me,” anytime soon. And maybe if he was a bit more awake he’d be able to turn the concept of being caught by a spider into something more romantic. 

He gently runs his fingers through Jonny’s hair as he sleeps. He shifts slightly and makes a soft, muffled sound that Lucas can’t deny is downright adorable and doesn’t do anything to dampen the so sweet it’s almost sickly rush of affection that’s going through him.

He may only be able to feel a fraction of what he could feel if he transcended this form, this casket is so restrictive still even if he’s probably as powerful as he’s ever been and this is not enough, never enough. But also what he feels now fills every part of his body, this mere casket is so much it’s overwhelming. There’s just something about how deep this ability to feel goes that he wouldn’t trade for anything.

(Maybe that’s part of why he wants to stay on this tiny speck in the universe so much, yeah he might not be able to experience )

He’s not quite sure how long he lies there as he doesn’t so much bathe in this sheer joy as willingly drown in it before Jonny starts to stir. 

Jonny gives another muffled sound, this one is not quite as soft, it’s some sort of groan. But honestly even that to Lucas is downright adorable. 

“Mornin’” Lucas drawls. 

Jonny mumbles something back that sounds like “Morning,” as he looks at Lucas slightly bleary eyed and that does nothing to help dampen that sweet, almost sickly rush of affection. 

And then he feels Jonny tense, as he looks away for a moment “I-”

Lucas reaches out and gently rubs his back and that seems to work as Jonny relaxes again.

“Jonny?”

He sighs, his voice low and thick with sleep “This… feels weird,” “Weird?” Lucas gently tucks a lock of hair behind Jonny’s ear. 

Jonny sighs, “I… I mean not in a bad way, it’s nice just… weird,” 

“Me holding you?”

“Yeah… You don’t mind?”

“Why would I?” Lucas grins softly, “Only fair right? You are my boyfriend,” 

“Boyfriend,” Jonny sighs, but it’s a soft wistful thing, “That’s also going to take a while to get used to,” He gives one of those signature snorts. And honestly that combined with a barely there smirk doesn’t really do anything to provide any counter to Lucas’ allegations of ‘You’re actually fucking adorable’.  “Apparently all that weird shit about you being an alien-”

“Hey,” Lucas playfully sighs as they playfully swat Jonny on the nose, “We went through this, I’m not an alien, I’m a cosmic horror thank you very much,” He shakes his head, “And you call yourself a horror aficionado, shocking,” 

Jonny chuckles, not the snort, an actual chuckle and oh that further stokes this sensation that’s turned into euphoria by this point “It’s just…. funny how all that weird shit is easier to accept than the fact I came out of all that with a boyfriend,” 

Lucas presses a kiss to Jonny’s forehead as he gently places a hand around the back of his head and Jonny sighs. “I don’t want to get out of bed yet,”

“Good,” Lucas grins.

The Epilogue is Playable Now

So, we finally made it.

The Epilogue is playable now!

It certainly felt like the closer to the end we got, the slower our progress became, but the important part is that we did it and we made it and now you can play it. Which means that the entire game is now playable! That feels good to say.

Our next steps are: getting some things edited to get the game polished up, and then get it published and out there for the world to play in its final form. Thank you to everyone that has followed this project over the years, it has meant the world to us.

But they're not really his go to flirting technique for the most part but he probably has thrown some stupid horror themed ones at Jonny that somehow work better than you'd think

7: Does your OC have any irrational phobias?

I would say no actually, there's not really a lot of 'mundane' things Lucas is freaked out by even if the form he is in now is like a lot more... squishy and he's had to learn to be somewhat cautious over the years. Like not necessarily just on a pure injury front more a "oh wait humans don't normally just shrug something like this off, whoops," way.

13: What kind of situations does your OC avoid the most?

"Boring" ones.

Saying that for example this doesn't necessarily mean things like 'Oh I skipped maths class," or "I'm putting off doing my laundry," as he generally has his ways to make those somewhat interesting it's more stuff where he really has little choice to make things more his own.

19: What boosts your OC’s confidence the most?

So funnily enough even if Lucas will admit he's a bit of a glutton for flattery and likes attention (including physical) he actually gets more confidence from moments where he can kind of crack through and work out what makes someone tick and get a real connection going.

Like yeah if you stick him in a room at a party he's pretty good at working the room and generally will have a fairly chill fun time with people (He will also admit he's a bit of a hedonist but at the same time... he likes to share the good vibes you know?) but it's not quite the same as when he can zero in on someone whose actually on a similar wavelength to him and make them realise they are on the same wavelength as him and that hey we can have a lot of fun together.

(Probably a big part of what drew him to Jonny tbh)

How closely is their opinion of their own beauty (or lack thereof) linked to their confidence? Do they see themselves as more or less worthy of love or sex based on how attractive they feel?

Types of Love

It factors in a chunk into his confidence, Lucas thinks he looks pretty good and he has like decent evidence to prove other people do as well so that's a nice bonus but he is like generally pretty confident in himself.

But I'd say it doesn't really impact how 'worthy' he feels of love and sex, that's like a separate thing.

Wisteria Newman (NB/F) once despised being trapped in a tiny fragile casket and constantly in the company of ‘’’’family members’’’’’, but over the time they’ve spent ‘growing’ in this form she’s come to foster a deep, sincere affection, curiosity, and delight with this world and its varied beings (a portion of which are legally edible). Her favourites after humans are butterflies, their ability to completely change their form striking a chord and she taxidermies exotic specimens for decoration.

She’s yet to decide if this casket is chrysalis or butterfly but either way it’s Hers. She’s long since decided everything is Hers, actually–which is why these days they intend to keep their beloved creatures (read: all creatures) alive to watch them grow and thrive and fight for eternity.

Bubblegum Bitch: A Playlist for Kimberly Newman

So I made a playlist for Bean a while back, and I have finally got round to finishing one for Kimberly.

Kimberly Newman is my OC from the fantastic @the-passenger-if .

Kimberly Newman, like Bean, is far scarier than she looks, but that is about as far as deep as the similarities run. Kimberly is a little pocket rocket, highly opinionated and extroverted.

Kimberly is the girlfriend/yappy little guard dog of one Jonny Escuedero, and she has a sibling-like relationship with Roach. She and Livvy, post ‘I-replaced-your-sibling-in-the-womb’gate , are slowly but steadily patching things up. Unlike Bean’s playlist, Kimberly’s playlist doesn’t go in order chronological events.
