Hey there, gang, how is it going? I'm feeling a little bit less stressed now that my partner has been reincorporated to his job—for a while we were worried he'd lose his health insurance since the next 5 years are crucial after the first embolization. We are still waiting to hear from his doctor and if he considers my partner needs another procedure or not (if not, then the next check-up will be in 3 years).

Personal stuff aside, I've been working on the plot points of ASOSAS and on putting together a first draft, look:

The idea is having a small adventure happening every chapter—emphasis on small because I know crap is going to balloon out of control if I get carried away. Also, it took me their first dialogue to confirm what I already knew: writing Vern will be like writing 2 different ROs since m!vern and f!vern are not the same character, not exactly. Well, it will add to the replayability.

I just read something about spelunking and was reminded of that part in passenger... mc was so crazy for going there. it was soo scary i couldn't ever!

Watched The Descent the other day and kicked myself for not making the spelunking scenes worse.

Hey gang, how are you doing? Last Sunday I went to a see live music at a bar and had a blast, but then around Wednesday I came down with a cold. I'm fine now, doing my laundry, but I'm so over colds. Maybe this is the reason why, but I literally never go out, and when I do some virus latches on me xD

Anyway, yesterday I watched The Florida Project and I liked it. Not going to lie, I thought the kids would be more like the ones in Disco Elysium (that's the type of childhood I'm planning to depict in ASOSAS) but they did remind me of my own childhood running around with a bunch of cousins. As a side note, I really liked Bria Vinaite's character, what a glorious train wreck.

Yes :3 Roach is an amalgamation of Zevran and Isabela from Dragon Age (Origins, and 2), and Pan from one of my favorite IFs, Diaspora @diasporatheblog

Sketchy, easy to like hard to trust characters are my type of characters.

If you enjoyed Roach you will probably like the Kitsune from the IF Kitsune by Thom Baylay. I loved that little shit; from what I've seen in reviews of the game on Steam, they are a super divisive figure. Personally, I think they rock and I had a lot of fun romancing them, but some players hated their guts, and the story, and everything xD Thom's games aren't for everyone (I can't replay the Grim and I because it makes me sad) but they are so so good.

ASOSAS creation feels a lot like being trapped inside a vortex full of themes and ideas I want to explore, but I'm slowly tidying everything up so I can turn the word vomit into something playable.

The first draft will be a screenplay (like the Leesangre's) and I'm super excited about starting to put the words on paper, so to speak. I'm already in love with this new cast of freaks and enthused about sharing them with all of you so we can play with our new toys already.

"I can't get enough of you" for a pairing of your choice

AO3 Subtle Smut Starters Jonny @the-passenger-if, Lucas, Jonny slowly getting the hang of being a little more dominant, you know the good stuff. This has also been ratting around the wips since around October and I finally wrangled it.

His pulse thrums in his ears, mixes with the sounds of their shared ragged breaths that come between soft moans and Lucas’ urging praise.

Jonny buries his face into the crook of his neck, Lucas’ ankles crossed over his lower back as he continues to fuck him even as they’re both spent,his movements increasingly erratic before he stops with a groan. 

“Fuck!” Lucas moans, the word drawn out long and low until it trials into a laugh.

And he finds he laughs too. 

(He’s been doing that a lot more lately, fucking weird) 

He slumps, Lucas still wrapped around him as he lets himself get lost in them before he finally, slowly pulls out with a shared whimper, still braced over him. 

“Hey-” Lucas grins up at him.

“Hey,” He grins back just as Lucas grabs his shirt and pulls him into a meltingly soft kiss.

“I’m…” He manages just before Lucas catches his lips again, “I’m not done with you,” he breathes.

“Oh?” Lucas reaches up to tuck a lock of brown hair behind his ear.

“Yeah,” He swallows then he leans forward to kiss him before he can have second thoughts (Although most of the time it’s more like… sixth or seventh thoughts) the kiss a fleeting little thing before he starts to work his way down his body, rewarded with sighs and moans, the last kisses  trail down the soft hair on his stomach before he’s between Lucas’ thighs. 

He swallows hard, greeted by the sight of his handiwork, there’s a rush of something that goes through him, pride maybe? But then pride doesn’t go to your dick, right?” 

(And there’s a much less sexy thought of I’m glad one of us remembered to put a towel down) 

“Wow-” He manages as he looks up. 

“Mhmm,” Lucas props himself up on his elbows and grins at him lazily, “You did such a good job… now what-”

That trails into a gasp of “Oh!” As he starts to tease his t-dick and Lucas shakily pulls his hair.

“That’s it… good boy… good boy,” Lucas murmurs encouragemen and Jonny dares to steal another glance and Lucas chuckles as he grip slackens to ruffe his hair, “Fuck you’re so cute with my cock in your mouth,” and somehow he has blood spare to go to both his cheeks and his dick. 

He’d stay there forever if he could but eventually he pauses with a ragged breath before his attention shifts lower. 

Fingers first. 

The sound is something so… visceral it makes him think it wouldn’t be out of place in something directed by Clive Barker, and then he thinks that’s probably not really the right thing to be thinking of right now but then maybe it is the right thing? But then by this point he’s pretty sure all sorts of wires are crossed up there and the line between eroticism and horror has always been bordering on nonexistent anyway. 

He steals another glance as Lucas writhes, head turned to the side as he moans before he pulls his fingers back and takes them into his mouth and they share a moan that trails off into a chuckle. 

(Is it weird he’s starting to like how he tastes?)  He settles down again, lifts Lucas’ legs over his shoulders as he sets to cleaning up his earlier handiwork whilst Lucas pushes his head down as he grinds against his face and he rocks against the sheets until there’s a warning, needy moan of “Jonny,” and he groans as Lucas’ grip on his hair tightens as he takes him over the edge once more.

Hey there, gang. How are you doing? I'm doing fine for the most part, trying to take it one day at a time. Been planning my siren IF—there's so many things I want to talk about in that game that it makes the process long and labyrinth-like. It's so different from the way The Passenger happened that it feels like having to learn the ropes all over again. I'm enjoying the ride though so there's that.

Watched the movie Quills because I really like the way it's written and how every part of it is there for a reason—you couldn't edit anything out without breaking the story.

Watched Snow White: A Tale of Terror (great) and The Ugly Stepsister (amazing) to study folktales and how they work.

I also watched Madoka Magica (and the Rebellion movie) and I loved it so much. As someone who used to watch Cardcaptor Sakura, what a great concept, man. And so tragic, 10/10 made me tear up.

Watched El Eternauta which doesn't have anything to do with my siren game, but it's a great show regardless. Seeing places I've been to hundreds of times all covered in toxic snow and creatures is bonkers. "Hey! That's Soleil! I watch movies there!" Also the critique to Argentina's awful, gross government. Just amazing stuff.

Hi, just wanted to say the passenger has become one of my favourite IFs ever. I vividly remember playing it for the first time, staying up till the asscrack of dawn. After I finished it, I replayed. Again and again. That was 6-ish months ago, and I revisited it yesterday. Same thing-- Stayed up till dawn and I replayed over and over. I just can't express how much I adore it from the writing to the characters especially, they're all so loveable and it was one of the games that solidified my type for 'acquired' tastes :-) Jonny's route is the one I always go for with each replay. Sorry for the long message, but I just wanted to express how comforting the game is for me, absolute kudos to your awesome work, you're a cool author!
