Why was the last scene I got of him getting burned by the sun, apologising and running away? Why hurt me like that? I wanted to run after him and hug him and tell him I’m proud of him (again) and I love him. Dude was in my party for pretty much the entire game because of his slight of hand and I got so attached to him and then that happens. Shit broke my heart.

Also I recreated my character and did another mostly identical run because people on the internet were like “Karlach being illithid is the good end”. Like no it’s not, she’s not herself 🥺. I’m close to facing the elder brain now and I’m going to Avernus with her and Wyll, but I do not know if I’m emotionally ready to see that shit happen to Asterion again
