When attending a conference do you prefer listening to a speaker or interacting with the speaker’s message? I had the opportunity to host an interactive session - using applied improv - @rotarydistrict6970 annual gathering and it was a hoot … for me and for them. Everyone in the room was playing cooperatively to showcase ways we can work more effectively together for a common goal. Isn’t that way more fun than me just talking about it? Today, my partner in play - @garyware - reminded me that grown-ups struggle to laugh 18 times a day. 😖 Did you know that kids laugh 180 - 200 times a day???!!! The difference between kids and grown-ups is that kids laugh for pure joy and grown-ups only laugh when something is "funny." Laughter has so many benefits, such as: * lowering blood pressure * increasing oxygen flow * combating depressing * building community And it feels good! One way to tap into this goodness - without waiting for something to be "funny" - is through Laughter Yoga! Laughter Yoga is a combination of laughing exercises, yogic breathing, light stretching and relaxing meditation.
