Quodo Week 2025 Prompts

Our prompts are here! Hi everyone -- Quodo Week 2025 is a week dedicated to the Odo/Quark pairing from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It runs from August 4th to 10th with the prompts below. Basically, you create however many works you like for the set of prompts given, and then post them on the appropriate day during the week, and then we can look at what everyone created!

Prompts:

Day 1 (Mon 4 Aug): Meeting Moogie | "I named this drink after you"

Day 2 (Tue 5 Aug): Early relationship/Terok Nor | "You read my diary?!?"

Day 3 (Wed 6 Aug): Protective | Aphrodisiacs & love potions

Day 4 (Thu 7 Aug): Interrogation | Odo using his shapeshifting for domestic reasons

Day 5 (Fri 8 Aug): "You're the only person I can turn to..." | Screencap redraw

Day 6 (Sat 9 Aug): Working together (e.g. solving a crime, helping with a mission) | Inspired by fanwork

Day 7 (Sun 10 Aug): Quark's moon | Free prompt

Rules:

Works must feature Odo/Quark as the primary relationship. Gen works focused on both of them, as well as poly ships involving both Odo and Quark, are also allowed.

All media types allowed except AI-generated works.

Prompts: Use the prompts however you like. One prompt or both, and any number of works. Works on any theme may be posted on Day 7.

Posting early: You do NOT have to wait until the week itself to publish your works, but if you post early, please advertise your work again on the relevant day during the week itself.

Posting: When posting for Quodo Week, please include the day and prompt in your post (e.g. Day 3: Protective). Also, tag your post with #quodoweek or #quodoweek2025 and/or tag the @quodoevents blog so that I can find and reblog your post.

All content is allowed, but please do use required site warnings as appropriate.

WIPs allowed, both in the sense that you can repurpose a preexisting WIP for this event if it fits, and in the sense that unfinished works are welcome to be posted.

This event is primarily run through Tumblr. However, if you like, you can also post your works to the AO3 collection. It is open for posting at any time.

Hello! It's been a while since I've posted a new prompt (5 months???) Things have been hectic, so in honor of time getting away from me, this prompt is all about time. Please have fun!

Your mission: Sign up here before May 25! Give at least three different prompts, PLUS you have the option of putting up your works for a remix/fanwork created from your own Snarry works!

Anonymous matches sent right after! You will know who your giftee is, but not your creator (they are different!). You can get in touch anonymously with your giftee via their askbox or anon guest comment on AO3 if you have questions, to say hi, just to squee… :D

Creation time until July 25 ! Pick at least one prompt to create at least one work (no maximum;-). 2000 words min for fic and podfic. The 2000 words can be split between different works, but a single work is minimum 1000 words.

Posting: You will have until July 25 to post in the unrevealed, anonymous AO3 collection. If you do not have an AO3 account or don't want to post there, you can submit your work to this blog here (no Tumblr account needed).

Resurrection Bingo

A bingo with a focus on characters who died too early in canon. You can choose any character from any fandom for your card, but that character must have died a canonical permanent death.

Rules:

🐦‍🔥 Each card will feature one canonically dead character of your choice, and all fanworks you create for that card must focus on that character. However, you DON'T have to write a resurrection of some sort into your fic (it can be an AU where they avoid their canon death or they're never at risk of dying to begin with, etc.).

🐦‍🔥 This bingo is multifandom. Crossovers are fine but not original works or RPF.

🐦‍🔥 You can combine multiple prompts in one fanwork.

🐦‍🔥 Each submitted fanwork should be new and complete, but it can be a standalone, part of a series, or one chapter of a multi-chaptered fic.

🐦‍🔥 This bingo is primarily geared towards fanfic, but any medium is fine if you feel you can do it. For fanfic, the minimum is 100 words with no maximum.

🐦‍🔥 You can use fanworks submitted for this event for other events as well, so long as it’s okay with the other side too.

🐦‍🔥 Cards are 3x3. Signups are open indefinitely but each person is limited to two active cards at a time. When you finish one, you can come back anytime to request another. There is no deadline for finishing a card.

Many years ago, in the days of Livejournal (and to be fair, I think up until a couple of years ago on Dreamwidth), before MerMay and MonsterMay, there was the Merry Month of Masturbation in May.

Just 31 days of writing your favourite characters jacking it.

No prompts, just vibes and the unified satisfaction of a solo orgasm or two.

In honour of that, and my incredibly boring 10 hour shift last night, I bring you a bingo square of self love prompts. No prizes (beyond what you give yourselves), just for fun, some shenanigans.
