My Review of the Book ‘Mr. Terupt Falls Again’ by Rob Buyea
This book is truly one of a kind, and it’s a feel-good kind of book.
This book takes place at Snow Hill School, and it’s a sequel to the book ‘Because of Mr. Terupt’. Basically, Because of Mr. Terupt, by Rob Buyea, is a novel about one year in the life of a fifth grade class at Snow Hill School. Told through the eyes of seven students, the class is deeply affected by their new teacher Mr. Terupt and the tragic accident that touches all their lives, but it brings them together even more. The students grow extremely attached to him, and Mr. Terupt feels the same.
Now, the kids are going to 6th grade, and Mr. Terupt decides he’s going to become a 6th grade teacher, just so he could teach his special group of kids before they’re off to Junior High. Mr. Terupt brought them together, now it’s their turn. Mr. Terupt’s class is spending one more year with him before they graduate. But for seven students, 6th grade comes with it’s own set of challenges. Peter may be forced to leave his friends. Jessica uncovers startling details about Mr. Terupt. Luke gets some unexpected answers. Alexia hangs with a too-cool crowd. Jeffrey makes a life-changing discovery. Danielle suspects her family is keeping secrets. Anna decides she’s ready for the truth. And that’s before Mr. Terupt springs news on them- really BIG news. The students of Snow Hill School will need to pull off an extra special project. But are happy endings over the horizon? Or will everyone fall over again?
This book provides action, love, kindness, truth, mystery, and drama all wrapped beautifully in one book. I TOTALLY recommend this book, and it’s also a great summer read.
Thanks for tuning in!

My Review of the book ‘The War that Saved my Life’ by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley
Wow. Just wow. I just finished reading this book, and I have to tell you, it is one of the most heart-breaking, scary, angering, nerve-racking books you will ever read. It’s by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley, who is also the author of ‘Jefferson’s Sons’, which is another great book.
It starts off in the middle of World War ll.
10-year-old Ada has never left her one room apartment. Her horrible mother who always yells at her and cusses at her and insults her is too ashamed and humiliated by Ada’s clubfoot, which bleeds every time Ada tries to walk, to let Ada outside the house. So when her little 7-year-old brother Jamie is shipped out of London to escape the war, Ada doesn’t waste a minute-
She sneaks out to join him.
So begins a new adventure for Ada, and for Susan Smith, the woman who is forced to take the kids in (but soon grows extremely fond of them). As Ada teaches herself to ride a pony, learns to read, and watches for German spies, she begins to trust Susan - and Susan begins to love Ada and Jamie. But in the end, will their bond be strong enough to hold them together through wartime? Or will Ada and Jamie fall back into their cruel hands of their mother?
Set during one of the most explosive periods of time in world history, this amazing story is equal parts adventure and a moving tale of family, identitly, and the fire of self-worth that can, when fed, burn brightly in all of us.
This book is amazing, I loved loved loved loved LOVED it!
Thanks for listening!

My Review of the book ‘Nickel Bay Nick’ by Dean Pitchford (author of Captain Nobody).
I loved Nickel Bay Nick. That’s literally all I can say about the book. This is one of the books that if you try to describe it, you end up giving the whole story away, and that just shows how amazing and well-written the book was. I can DEFINITELY say that about this particular book. It’s mystery, crime, love, sadness, and it’s not inappropriate at the same time! Which makes it a cool read to the max! :D I’ll try my best to not give this whole book away! Don’t forget to read it! :DDDDDD
Sam Brattle has it rough. His dad’s bakery is going bankrupt. His mom is spending the holidays with her new family. And now Nickel Bay Nick, the good Samaritan who anonymously hides $100 bills in people’s belongings, is a no-show, and the rest of Nickel Bay is feeling as bad as Sam. But when Sam accidentally discovers the identity of Nickel Bay Nick, he learns that he may be the town’s only hope for salvation-and he never would have guessed what he’d have to do to make that happen. :O Dean Pitchford’s charming novel features a young boy in a big world trying to fight through it. This book is one of a kind, and is definitely one of the best reads ever! :)

My Review of the book ‘Hope is a Ferris Wheel’ by Robin Herrera.
‘Hope is a Ferris Wheel’ was one of the most unforgettable, lovely, heartwarming, inspiring stories I’ve ever read! I loved how the author wrote the book from a different kind of girl’s point of view, instead of the regular old ‘BFF girl drama love crushy’ kind of book! I don’t want to ruin the book for you if you read it, but let me give you a little description of it! :D
Star Mackie lives in a trailer park called Treasure Trailers with her flaky mother and her melancholy older sister. Moving to a new town has made it difficult for Star to fit in and make new friends. Her classmates tease her because of where she lives, and her layered blue hair. But when Star starts a club at school to try to find people she could make friends with, she comes to terms with her own hopes for the future-with a little help from Emily Dickinson. And through all this school drama, she and her older sister Winter set out to find out who their father was, and when they do, something happens that changes the way Star thought about her life forever. With an unforgettable voice, and a lot of heart, ‘Hope is a Ferris Wheel’ by Robin Herrera is the story of a girl who learns to accept her family and herself while trying to make sense of the world around her.
Oh my god, I LOVED this story! It was lovely, and heart-wreching, and just- wow! I love it!

My Review of the book ‘The Mum Hunt’.
‘The Mum Hunt’. Cool name, right? Okay, so this book is one of those types of books that seem REALLY boring at the beginning, but starts to get juicy in the middle and towards the end!! So, I don’t want to spoil it for you, but let me at least give you a vague description of it so you can get an idea of what the book is like and what it’s about :)
So, eleven-year-old Esmie is on the hunt for a new mom. Her own mother died while giving birth to her, and her father is still heartbroken about it. Plus he works far too much (he’s a detective) and hasn’t gone out in AGES!! By Esmie’s reckoning, he needs help-and he needs it fast. So Esmie, her 15-year-old older brother Mathew, and their French Nanny (au pair) Juliette, place an advert in the lonely hearts column of their local newspaper. But what they’re looking for and what Esmie’s father is looking for might not be the same thing. Just whose hunt is this anyways? Gwyneth Rees’s charming novel describes matchmaking in it’s most misguided, hilarious, and well-intentioned form!
Enjoy the book!! I know I did! Oh, and BTW, it’s British, so they might say some words that might sound old-fashioned in our modern day English! Just a heads up! :D
