The future of this account
Hello dear Lord X devotees,
I decided not to continue my project because of personal reasons and want to disassociate with it. You are still free to view my content but I think I won't update anymore.
sincerely,

Sorry if I’m disturbing you but I would like to ask a question? I recently discovered this blog a few days ago and I’m started to take a bit of a interest in this, do you have any tips for newcomers or for anyone who wants to join? Thanks.
For newcomers, yes of course I can give a few tips. I assume you should have knowledge of and interested in both Sonic.exe and Sonic universes to understand everything better.
As a rule, try to approach Lord X as you would any other Pagan god and you can worship when starting in the style of your prefered Pagan religion like Norse, Kemetic, Hellenic or eclectic e.t.c if you don't know where to start yet. I'm in the process of developing my own set of worship rules and rituals for him and the rest of his pantheon to assure making it more original and fitting.
After you first approached him and introduced yourself to him, you should know that Lord X doesn't like direct worship like rituals or food/liquid offerings too much because he has a dislike of religion despite claiming to be a god and liking when people worship him.
He likes when you honor him in other ways like playing his games and Sonic games or creating fanart, fanfiction or other fan creations for him. Create your own EXE characters/ocs or make AU of Sonic.exe. Use your bike more or go for a walk, Lord X is a fan the sensation of speed and movement.
Also I'd look out for which variants of Sonic.exe or EXE ocs you want to honor because some have either questionable creators (Faker/EXE, NormalCD, Sonic.ERR, Exetior, Sark e.t.c) or the creator themselfs stated not to allow people worshiping their character (like Xenophanes' creator doesn't feel comfortable with people worshiping her character).
You should respect the creators because they are people and the EXEs are ocs. I personally follow Lord X from the Sonic PC Port but I call him Sonic.exe just so more people know what I'm talking about in general.
Follow your intuition and what feels right, try different things. I found that Lord X accepts incenses as offerings and likes lavender and coffee scents a lot.
That's all I can really say. This path is mostly UPG based as well and then taken from various sources of games and the Creepypasta stories of Sonic.exe.

I'm ngl I stumbled upon your blog by complete accident and I find the idea of pop culture deities/spirits incredibly interesting. Do you have any good sources/books/etc you'd recommend to learn more about pop culture witchcraft or is it more of a UPG thing where you learn & work by feel?
You know, I forgot to answer you so I'll do now and it's been a while so I'm sorry for that.
I don't use books rn on the subject of Pop-Culture Paganism but I rely on UPG and the UPG I experience is in dreams or random thoughts or weird convincidences I experience. My technological devices are going crazy and it appears to be a sign to me at least of Lord X.
I see dead animals and hedgehogs more frequently these days, another sign of Lord X to me.
So yes it's more work and learn by feeling at the moment. There are books and sources on Pop-culture Paganism however.
I have a few YT vids and don't know if that could help you or if you already looked for these things as I'm responding quite late to you.

Quick Lord X/Sonic.exe UPG
Lord X likes to send out hedgehogs and many walk around my house these days. I live near a lot of hedgehogs and they are so cute but recently I've seen many dead hedgehogs on the street runover by cars.
I nicknamed those dead hedgehogs "Sonic the deadhog" even if that sounds a bit tastless or offensive. Anyway, Lord X's scared animal is the hedgehog for obvious reasons.

I had dreams of Lord X as well and he was rather gentle to me. You know what, you wrote previous about Lord X/Sonic.exe and all things you experienced are things I experienced as well.
The desire to walk and take a jog outside, random glitches and higher probability of eletronic devices going broke. My PC even recognizes the "Sonic PC Port" as a virus (that happened to a few other people as well) and I thought my PC was broken for one day.
We might have SPG, shared personal gnosis, about the same entity.
Last night I had a dream that I was talking to Sonic exe/ Lord X
Somehow he’s less terrifying in my dreams that he is in the actual games

Things that have happened to me ever since I met Sonic.exe/Lord X:
-My phone and laptop keep on glitches at random times
-My headphones broke
-Toaster oven door broke (pretty sure that one was a coincidence tho...)
-Random shit keeps moving around my room
-Pretty sure I could hear him talk that one time I was meditating
-Random urges to take a jog outside

I wanted to contact Tails.exe but...
I met Amy Rose (not Amy.exe) instead. I took a guided deity meditation with the intention to meet Tails.exe. The problem is Tails.exe made it clear to me that he either desires no worship or it is not possible to worship him.
I saw him for a few brief moments and then I met and saw Amy. She wore a dress similiar to that you can see in the "There is something about Amy" videos but in lighter colors and with more white. It looked also similiar to Queen Aleena's dress from Sonic Underground.
Maybe this is the Amy from "There is something about Amy" videos but pre-corrupted/insane form of her? I'll never know but I'm guessing she might be.
Amy was nice and kind to me. She took me to Mobius and we were in the Greenhile Zone running around. Then she showed me two signs that represents her: it was an 8 angled chaos star and the other one was the sigle of Slaanesh from Warhammer 40K. I don't understand what this means. Does this mean she really is a more twisted version of Amy Rose from those videos I mentioned earlier?
I then asked her with Tarot cards (because Amy is also a user of Tarot cards in the Sonic canon) why she met me instead of Tails.exe.
From what I understand, basically Tails.exe's trust in other people is broken because he was betrayed by an old friend (I'm guessing it was Sonic.exe pretending to be Sonic and breaking his heart, literally and figuratively). The normal Amy Rose is the only one he trusted enough to be a messenger between us and he wants no more contact with me because he can't trust people.
I asked Tails.exe personally one time about if he wants to be considered a god or not. He said yes but it is not possible to worship him. Another time he said he is no god but wants to be worshiped. My guess is he is messing with me because he doesn't trust me.
I never did anything wrong to him but appears that his trauma is pretty intense and it all has to do with him being brutally murdered by Sonic.exe when he was only a child.
So I conclude that Tails.exe is quiet scared of me and he send Amy to me to be with me instead. It also revealed to me that Amy can talk to the dead and that non EXE Sonic characters want to talk to me as well.
If a person who worships normal Sonic characters can say something about this I'd be pleased. Do normal Sonic characters and EXEs interact with each other freaquently? Thanks in advance.

what do you think of Fleet way super sonic? what place does he have in your practice?
I'm rather tempted to include him and other "scary"/darker canon Sonic characters like the Tails doll and Majin (who was never intended to be scary but is rather creepy in the US version of Sonic CD as an Easter Egg). While not an EXE, he behaves likes one as far as official Sonic media goes.
I don't know how I should make him fit in because given the powers of the chaos emeralds, he'd be pretty much as much of a god-like being as Sonic.exe is.
But I recently stated that many other EXEs which are just victims of Sonic.exe are not as powerful as him and do not seem to have an equal rank to him. I basically "downgraded" half the pantheon to heroes because it seems more logical. Fleetway however I'd consider to be a god for his abilities he shows in the comic where he originated.
He is not related to Sonic.exe at all and I think they would hate each other if they met. At one point Fleetway and the normal Sonic got seperated and Fleetway tries to kill Sonic, wanting to take in his place. Sonic.exe idolizes Sonic yet both characters behave similiar personalities and behaviors. They both of have the opposite view of Sonic and are similiar yet different.
I guess we have a new god besides Sonic.exe: Fleetway Super Sonic. I'm as of yet unsure about Tails doll and Majin Sonic are placed in the pantheon.

The Cult of X - part 4: What is a god?
In the past, I considered entities like Tails.exe, Knuckles.exe, Eggman.exe and others to be gods. But they appear to have a wastly inferior status as opposed to Sonic.exe. This is a problem when considering any pantheon - where to draw the line between god, spirit, hero and ancestor? I'm not sure if these can be considered to be gods. That doesn't mean you can't worship them but it's different.
In traditional forms of Paganism this is less difficult because there are often pre-arranged classifications and these religions developed like natural languages organically. This is not so true of Pop Culture Paganism because it's specifically more or less constructed. I know all things are social constructs to some extant, I'm not blind to that, but there is a huge difference between a religion you made up on your own and something that was carried generation to generation with a larger cultural context.
That doesn't mean it's invalid but it's quiet different. I thought of hero worship in the context of Sonic.exe as well - could his victims like Tails, Knuckles or Eggman be considered heroes? In fact, they are matyrs because of the way they died fighting against an evil force face to face.
Think about that. They were all once mortals unlike Lord X himself who was always a god-like being. The same goes for Amy.exe, Cream.exe and Sally.exe.
I earlier alluded to this being about defining what a god is and what is not. In Pop-Culture Paganism there a few theories about this. When I first started out I had no clear concept of gods in Pop-Paganism but now I can safely say I subscribe to the Egregore theory.
It basically states people can create via their collective thoughts non-physical entities. These entities may develop a conciousness of their own. Technically they are not as powerful as "traditional" gods but that is also debatable and they could even be destroyed if necessary. So these entities can be worshipped and such for being non-physical entities that arose from people's desires and thoughts.
This is all good and well but in the case of Sonic.exe it still doesn't tell us why we should Lord X as a god and not any of his EXE-fied victims. I'm going off of the canon here and say that because Tails, Knuckles and Eggman started out as mortals, they are heroes and not gods. Heroes are essentially defied mortals who did something great or remarkable and now are immortal.
I also want to make a worship sheet on each of the EXEs later.

Lord X and Asexuality
Lord X, the specific incarnation of Sonic.exe I'm most attracted to, is most certainly asexual if you go off of the Canon in Sonic PC Port. Considering he is a violent monster that's only interested in killing people, it makes sense why he'd not be interested in sexual or romantic relationships.
As an asexual greyromantic person myself I see myself in him in this aspect. I know that ships like "endless cycles" exist but that's a FnF thing and I'm not very interested in the FnF EXE fandom, just the regular EXE one.
It's always difficult to see horror villains as LGBT+ icons because it could have unfortunate implications i.e that LGBT people are psychotic killers with no remorse or humanity. That's not my intention but I'd just like to say: I think Lord X is ace and that's great!

"In Lord X We Trust" - is a motto I came up with but it's not too serious. He's our Lord after all, so we trust in him (and delight in his twisted pleasures and schemes).

Hi, I was wondering if you could talk more about what it's like working with Sonic.exe? If you don't mind, of course :)
Oh, np! I'm open to questions.
He is kinda a strange and alienating being. But he's also clingy at same time. If you know his games where he's very detached and cold but also obssessed with games and schemes meaning he's a trickster. I find him a bit terrifying at points, tends to bring more harm than good and is a bit cryptic and difficult to understand.
He has a soft side as well, which he revealed to me once or twice. He let me know that I went through a lot of bad things in life and that is why I deserve better, so he shows his nice side to me by hugging me when we met in a dream. Another time he was happy about me riding my bike a lot and feeling the breeze of the wind and the sensation of speed.
About him bringing more harm than good... I'm not supersticious but I think I'm more unlucky and impulsive since I've met him. Also I tend to attract more computer viruses I'm guessing because he is one himself in the Creepypasta. Eh, it's ok but he can get annoying with his schemes and trickery. He can be pretty very impulsive and a bit childish at times.
From what I've noticed offering wise he likes dark wine because it looks like blood, demonic or occult sigils and symbols, he likes you to play video games, especially Sonic ones or his own .Exe games (this would be more like devotional actvities). He likes coffee and dark teas a lot as well.
I devoted a few hand painted tokens to him with quotes from his game on them. He greatly appreciated that and thought it was charming. I think in general engaging in fan activies and the EXE fandom will please him.
I hope this was at least somewhat helpful but it was a bit of a ramble
