I wish I could love you
This is the part of the story where the boy would cry. Little did he know, he is now grown up.
All the nightmares.
All the desires.
Even the bad weather.
Nothing could affect him much deeper.
No one taught him how should he feel.
He thought he feel nothing, but that’s all he feels.
Nothing but sorrow.
Nothing breaks like a heart.
It was 6 years ago when it all happened.
He thought he could walk away, left behind all the drama at a place called home.
But then the things get worse.
There was no peace but violence.
Countless of beer cans in the plastic bag.
Shattered hearts and glasses all over the ground.
The boy remembers vividly how scary it was, to have a man walked in the middle of the night.
The man was drunk.
He talked non-sense.
He threatened to kill himself.
I wish I could talk to you about me.
Love you like a boy loves his dad.
Treat you like the man who owe me his life.
But you aren’t sane anymore.
You are acting like someone else, someone I never knew.
I wish you could tell me why.
Who took you away?
This is the day when the rain doesn’t stop, my heart fills with sorrow.
Changed the vibe of my playlist.
Nothing excites me anymore.

Whew, what a year!
“I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22!” Finally got the chance to write this out!
2018 is the year that I won’t forget, to be honest. It comes much sooner than I thought. Who knew I will be a drug nerd in the future. When I was choosing my degree courses during matriculation, I was counting the year that I will finish my undergraduate, and here it is! I am not even sure that I am ready for it, ready for a new phase of life, or ready for leaving the comfort zone that I had just established.
I looked through a lot of things. I thought I was in the winning team but I am still in a race, an unfinished race. I figured out that the wonderful dream that I have always dreamed of is almost unreachable and how should I improvise to the changes. I always appreciate those friends who stay and bless those left unintended. Those decided to stay, I thank you with all of my heart.
I realized I do change too. I have lost interest in photography, or just a bit. I am not excited anymore, to go to a new place, like I used to be. I don’t watch movie anymore, or do review on every movie that I like. I don’t write things anymore, or anything that is worth trying. I keep things short and simple. I know the time is ticking, and that’s when I begin to be so rushy. I need to learn more things about my career, or at least put more effort than everyone does. I need to get less sleep and drink more coffee. Isn’t this what they call “adulting”?

Random Thought in a Uber
There was no reply to my “Hello”, and then I clicked.
Oh.
I gave the driver a thumb-up from the backseat
Then we were set to go.
I saw the dusty display screen of the car’s radio player.
It made so much sense that I felt empathy for him.
It was the first time I didn’t feel awkward at all
In a cab, without a single sound.
It felt so natural, nothing was wrong with it.
From one traffic light to another,
from one junction to another,
so it goes...
Although it was just a ride to home
But I never felt this way.
I was ashamed for taking things for granted.
My mind turned grey but my eyes were filled with colours
Colours of my life in contrast with the colours of the driver’s life
I listened to the sound outside of the car
Somehow it was clearer than ever
Then I heard the sound of me breathing, nonchalantly.
Until I reached home
I pointed to the building which he dropped me off
I remember how he laughed when I gave him the ten cent
How expressive he was
And how helpless I was
But again, there was no awkward.
I didn’t say a word of “Thanks” before I left
Instead I gave him a nod of head and a smile
