I am a coffee lover especially lattes, macchiato, frappes, etc. Now that it's summer here in PH, I can’t help but drink cold beverages to quench my thirst and also as part of my diet so one afternoon I was at home and I was really craving for iced coffee particularly iced white choco mocha from Starbucks. Of course I wouldn't want to go out that because it was really really hot. I was feeling so lazy that I just wanna sleep. Btw, coffee often makes me feel sleepy... weird! Quickly, I asked our maid to buy me instant coffee and made my own version of iced coffee.
The next day, I went to the grocery store across my school to buy some food to stock in my room. Then I discovered these variants so I gave it a try! These instant coffees are great alternatives to your expensive coffee house blend. They are way cheaper. Easy to purchase and tastes really good!
I am not a coffee expert but I've tasted different blends of coffee since I was a kid because most of the elders in my family can't live a day without coffee. I myself buys Starbucks coffee which i brew at home but the season makes me lazy and impatient to brew and mix. Forget about the fresh aroma, I like my coffee sweet and creamy. It’s iced anyway.
P.S. I guarantee that these taste good
How to make an iced coffee: -pour the content of the sachet -pour hot water just about the level of the coffee mixture -stir -put as much ice as possible -stir and let the ice melt so that your coffee is at it’s coldest possible temperature -enjoy! ;)

This is where i first encountered a now good-friend-of-mine-band named Tanya Markova. This was also the last time i was able to go to sazi’s bar (formerly mayric’s). I posted this photo because i heard that sazi’s bar is about to close. If you’re not familiar with this bar, it is located along espana avenue, across my former school, UST. This is the hide out of underground bands and even those in the mainstream because most likely this is where they actually started.
I’m not really sure why sazi’s will close. I hope that they are opting for renovation and launch a new bar! the place looks old which i don’t really care at all and is even cool coz of the old-school feel BUT!!! it looks like it was never maintained! looks dirty and is very crowded.
Luckily i was able know the owner’s nephew. But forgot to ask about it or if i’m not mistaken he shared that it’s because of the net loss. I totally forgot we were busy jamming then.
Will update if ever i have time. Remember… I’m erratic :P Might tend to forget about this post teehee ;”D

RANDOM TIP: #1
NEVER SLEEP WITHOUT DECENT CLOTHES ON
I know it is comfortable to wear less when sleeping or even nothing at all but I just recently contemplated on this matter when a former classmate, who just lives nearby, became a victim of fire.
I saw her wearing the usual "pambahay" which is a shirt and a fitted shorts. She saved nothing and said that she was sleeping when the fire started. So I thought, what if such fire or any calamity happens and I'm wearing nothing or I'm wearing this really loose jersey? Well, I'm not saying that it will happen but... or what if a guest visits at home without giving any notice?
Now I understand why Pajamas are made. though I don't feel so comfortable wearing such, maybe I could find a more comfortable yet not-so-eew-looking sleepwear. Or an option is to prepare or have easy-to-wear clothes or a bathrobe beside your bed so in case you have to cover up yourself for whatever reason, you have something to grab quickly.
Well this is just a tip and if you don't want to do so, it's okay. A tip is just a tip and neither I follows this at all times.

My IPL Experience
Purchasing vouchers online is one the many ways i do to be able to afford the things, treatments and services I need and want. I remember the pioneer painless and no-surgery treatments which reaches thousands of purchases... it's Cavitation and RF.
Just a short background, I myself has purchased few RF and Cavitation treatments but after I've undergone the treatment, I realized it wouldn't help me at all if i just rely on it alone. I think it's better if you're able to slim down the traditional and hard way and just undergo these treatments, whichever is your preference, to maintain the figure you have.
A lot more treatments and services for beautification and wellness were offered such as diamond peel, facial, laser, etc. I've tried diamond peel too but I honestly don't appreciate it that much without facial.
Who wouldn't be fascinated and be blinded by these offers if the original price ranging from P1500-P6000 is to be sold for only P99-P300 per session!!! That's 50%-98% off the original price! Anyway there's this certain treatment I've been longing to try and it's called IPL hair removal. There are a lot of clinics which offers this but luckily i found Skin Rejuve early this year which is just a 5-minute travel away from my house.
This clinic is not the Belo, Calayan or any other high-end clinics in the metro. Since it's just new. The place is not spacious and most of the time it is crowded. Most of the services listed in their "List of Services" are still not available which I'm not surprised of because the clinic is just new. Selling some of their services for very cheap prices will even make it impossible for them to render other services because therapists are always fully booked and like what I've said, the clinic is not big enough for new machines and more rooms for other clients.
I saw the IPL offer in metrodeal and unfortunately it was the last day of purchase although i was still hoping that as usual, it will extend the deal. I'm thinking twice if how many shall i purchase, which part/s will i use it for and if I'm really willing to shell out a few thousands that quick. So i called Skin Rejuve and luckily they also offer the promo in-house and just pay directly in the clinic. One more benefit of purchasing it in the clinic itself is that there's no expiration!
Like what I've said i purchased it early this year and just decided to use it last sunday, June 24. I was still undecided on what part I'm gonna use it, whether bikini, underarm or leg. The one at the front desk suggested that even though I just have very few strands of thick hair on my pits due to tweezing, I give it a go for prevention.
My pits case:
Less than 10 strands of short thick hairs which grow one at a time because I tweez it off immediately when i see it growing (right under arm).
Less than 5 thick strands and this certain pore where 2 tiny hair grow which really irritates me (left).
So i went for my pits, let those tiny hair grow so all of them will be eliminated at once and at the same time test how painful it is before I try the bikini part which is more sensitive to pain.
My experience:
BEFORE THE TREATMENT
Even  if I had a certain time scheduled, I wasn't treated on time. I think it's because I'm using a deal or because they have VIPs (those who give tips and are older and more frequent in there clinic). First come first serve or I really don't know there ruling.
They did not inform and orient me regarding the treatment. Whether what to expect, what to do for a more effective session, or any other important things i need to know. What they only ask are "Palist nalang po yung name (on the form: name, time of arrival, signature). Ma'am may record na po? What treatment? What area?". They were somehow courteous and friendly but not informative.
DURING THE TREATMENT
I was asked to remove my top in order to treat my pits properly. The therapist gave me a sarong to put on which i don't find decent enough.
The therapist made me lie down, put my arms up, put the goggles on, close my eyes and then she put the gel and said she'll start the procedure.
The therapist still didn't even orient me since it was my first ever session and didn't even asked me if it hurts. As I reacted due to pain on the sensitive and thin-skinned part of my pits the therapist just said "last 2 nalang po". And when the session was done which only lasted for less than 5 minutes she just said, "okay na po ma'am" and left. So I just figured my way out.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
Because I wasn't oriented and didn't know what to expect, I bothered why the tiny thick hair strands did not fall off, the girl at the front desk said that it will not automatically fall off. Maybe after a few sessions. I'm not used to keeping few strands on my pits so i asked if I may tweez it off, she said i may shave or tweez.
The girl did not even asked me or advised me when to have my next session or how often should I visit for an IPL session. When I asked she said every 2-3weeks. Still not informative although they answer all my queries (only when they are asked).
So I did my own research about IPL and found out that:
I should NOT tweez the hair because the roots will come off. The roots which are being killed during the first session should remain in the pores in order to make it weaker on the following sessions and finally be killed. As the roots or follicle weaken the hair strand produced may grown thinner and eventually get loose from the follicle and fall off. Therefore, you may only shave in between sessions. *I tried to shave it few days after my first session but felt like the strands were still thick or... Am I just not used for the strands on my pits all together? I don't know!
Some and fortunately in my case, I'm able to just pull the tiny thick hair strands off using my fingers! They say on the 5th or 6th day it may happen. Yesterday, June 30 I was actually able to pull the hair alone (without the follicle or root) and was really a relief from the irritating spiky small hairs. =P
There you go, so far after the first session was effective. I'll still go for another session to be sure that even if the hair strands were already loose and was pulled off from the follicles, there will be no hair on progress for regrowth.
DETAILS: Price: P250/session (*they change their packages and promo price from time to time but will still be around P250) Location: Kasing-Kasing St. Cor. Kamias Road Quezon City (beside China Bank) they also have another branch in Ortigas. For inquiries: I suggest you just text them because it's really difficult to contact their wireless land line especially the Kamias branch due to the weak signal inside the clinic. (Please "google" their number)
(Will post an update after the second session)

KAWAWANG ATENEO AT ST.SCHO! TSK TSK! :P
“Ano ba yan? Students ba kayo ng UP? Bakit ang bababa ng scores nyo? Siguro wala kayong date ngayong valentines kaya ganito kayo ‘no? Losers! When I was your age I had a date. Hindi ba naaapektuhan ng UP FAIR euphoria ang grades nyo? Parang hindi kayo masaya. (Sabay tapon ng quizzes sa sahig) I won’t record this. Go find a date.” (Sabay walk out) - Prof. Doliente, BA
“I don’t give surprise long exams. All exams are announced. Halimbawa: Class, mag-e-exam tayo, NGAYON NA!” - Prof Chei
“Nasa bandang gilid ang fallopian tube. Kaya kung gusto n’yong magka-anak ng asawa nyo, dapat naka-tagilid kayo habang gumagawa.” - Prof Meggie, Zoo 10
(First day of classes) “Last sem was the first time I gave a grade of 5. And it felt good!!!” - Prof Goldie, Comm II, Circa 1998
“Anong molars? You don’t say molars because it’s an adjective! Do you say beautifuls?” - Prof Ilao, to a student who said molars
“Kaya nga ideal eh, hindi s’ya nangyayare sa totoong buhay. Pero an approximation is good enough.” - Prof Engle, on ideal and real systems
“Pag nananaba ka sa exams mo, ibig sabihin hindi ka papasa.”
“Oh, the BAR isn’t scary. It’s terrifying. It might even kill you.”
“Wow. Rape-able.” and “Stand up miss ____ so that I can see the contours of your body.”
Convince them. Class: (Tahimik at gulat) Prof: And .25 incentive sa final grade nyo!
“The more wisdom you obtain, the more you shut your mouth. This is because the more you learn, the more you realize that there are even more things that you do not know.  The true mark of an idiot is a loudmouth, the true mark of a wise man is humility.” - PI100, CAL
Prof: Alam mo, God is good. And I am God. So yes, pwede next week.
“Try everything once except incest.” - Prof Elisero, Creative Writing class
And one day pumasok ng room, galit na galit. Kapag walang makasagot, lagot kami. Ang tanong: “Class, sino yung lalaking artista dun sa TV show na Wonder Years?”
“Ang hindi maka-100, bobo!”

Another prof: “Hoy girls, wag kayong kukuha ng boyfriend dito sa UP. Pare-parehas tayong mahirap dito. Kumuha kayo ng mayaman. 80% of the child’s intelligence comes from the mother naman eh. Kayo guys, wag kayong kukuha ng bobong babae. Kahit matalino kayo, magiging bobo anak n’yo.”
Isa pa: “Gusto n’yong malaman kung jologs yang boyfriend n’yo? Papuntahin n’yo sa bahay, tapos ibigay n’yo remote ng TV n’yo. ‘Pag nilipat sa Wowowee, hiwalayan n’yo na. Wala kayong mapapala dyan! Pero kung tanghaling tapat tapos inilipat yung channel sa Bloomberg, yung tipong “Wait, I’ll just check kung pwede ko nang ibenta stocks ko.” I-lock n’yo na ang pinto at yakapin n’yo ng mahigpit! Nakahukay na kayo ng mina ng ginto!” - Prof Lanuza, Socio 10
“Class, Chinatown is not in China. And Ateneo de Manila University is not… a university.”
“Ateneo is not a university, it’s a diploma mill. Bakit ba naka-ngiti pa mga estudyante dyan ‘pag lalabas na sila ng gate nila? Hindi ba nila nalalaman ang nami-miss nila sa edukasyon?”
Student: Sir, pwede po ba mag-sit-in yung friends ko? Prof: From what school are they? Student: St. Scho po. Prof: Go ahead, so they will realize what they are missing.

“We do not accept anyone in this class except for those who are members of a certain minority group. For example: Gays are part of the minority group. Bakla ka ba? If you admit to this class that you are gay, then I’ll admit you.” - Prof to a guy student na nagpa-re-program

In These Pictures: Top: asymmetrical cut loose baby blue top (graphic vintage design), MBK mall bangkok, P320
Bottom: denim style leggings, chatuchak weekend market bangkok, P480
Footwear: white strappy sandals, le donne, P1,200
Accessories: red slim watch, Mango, siam dicovery bangkok, P3400
 pearl earrings, Greenhills, P100
*Prices are converted to Philippine Peso.
Alternative to achieve this look:
Top: Any one shoulder revealing clothing (kind of asymmetrical.) remember to have a piece which is pastel color
Bottom: i found something similar in greenhills which is cheaper.
Footwear: keep it plain. color and style shall be balance. it must be light in order not to steal the beauty of the clothes.
Accessories: accessories shall only accent the whole look. a dark/bright contradicting color of an accessory is the perfect complement to a pastel outfit.
like this look?
hype it in lookbook.nu and don't forget to give some lovin <3

The Gromble is a band i just recently discovered. I love their songs! Check them out :D might do a review or blog about their other songs. Meanwhile, check them out via... youtube: TheGrombleLives facebook: facebook.com/TheGromble
i'm not sure what are their songs' genre but i think it's alternative pop. They have other cool tracks such as toto, desole, and a lot more. Great lyrics as well. Wish i could download their songs for free but unfortunately i think it's still impossible.
Enjoy!

Late post :p
when i first saw the tweet of solenn about magnum i actually thought it was something like power balance or something that is associated with strength. i was eating at bon chon when i saw her twitpic. then i knew it's an ice cream! i went down to rustan's supermarket to check if it's already available, i was craving for a froyo though. BINGO! it was available in classic and almonds.
I bought the magnum almond and the new white chocolate cornetto. I love belgian chocolates and white chocolates!!! Lucky day!!!
My review on the two:
Magnum When i first tried the almond flavor, i really loved it! I actually thought there were only 2 flavors but when i saw the tvc and the posters, it also has a chocolate truffle flavor which wasn't available til sometime after the first 2 flavors were released. Those with vanilla ice cream in it do taste good... AT FIRST TRY. When i purchased again after a few days, i HATED it. It tasted too sweet already. hindi na sya masarap. in tagalog nakakasuya, nakakaumay na! maaappreciate mo lang siguro yung taste nya if you eat it once a month or if matagal ka na talagang di nakakakain ng chocolate. Coz i even thought na baka yung chocolate truffle is worth trying since i love "truffles" but the chocolate ice cream itself without the belgian chocolate coating is a bit disappointing. choosy kasi ako when it comes to chocolate ice cream.
For me the best variant is the almond considering they are all priced at P55. Mas okay pa siguro bumili nlng na dilly bar or choco dipped ice cream cone sa dq or the chocolate one sa stick house kesa sa magnum. Opinion ko lang naman to. tho i won't deny the fact na nasarapan tlga ko sa lasa nya sa FIRST purchase ko.
Cornetto White Chocolate
Kinda worth the price. It would have been better and close to perfect if they make the ice cream sweeter just like the real white chocolate. medjo nakukulangan lang ako sa lasa or they may opt for a white chocolate at the bottom of the cone parang sa chocolate flavored cornetto. adding up to 5pesos won't hurt if it tastes more like a real white chocolate. i've tasted one sa stick house and it was perfect! mahal kasi un. pero diba if you would produce it na may commercial pa dapat sinarapan na nila. Just a little sweetness and i'll give 5 stars! :D
Items in the Pictures:
Food: A. Selecta Magnum            B. Selecta Cornetto
Price: A. P55 (the commercial says SRP is P50)            B. P25 (the commercial says SRP is P20)

Last March 9, 2012 my friends from the south and some other friends treated me for my b-day. they picked me up from school right after my class and we ate at Banapple. After which we head for some comfort food (which i will post separately) then dropped by my house to change for our night-out and brought home my 2 big pies which i took out together with their gifts (will also post separately). This is the TapSiLog (tapa, sinangag, itlog) version of Banapple. I ordered this at Il Terrazzo branch, Tomas Morato. Usually the eggs are scrambled (with special ingredients) but i requested them to cook it sunny side-up and was actually surprised to see 2 sunny side-up eggs O.O I love the buttery taste of this entree.
