Arachnophobia has me in a chokehold

Because tell me why I just had a approx 30 minute western style stand off with a quarter sized mf in the middle of the night!?!?!?

I had to turn off all the lights, and here is this little shit between me and the lamp I need to turn off, and this f*cker is FAST

So I jump onto the couch, with the bug spray, armed and ready

We stare at each other

Half an hour before this, I first spot it crawling across the kitchen, took my eyes off it for ONE second! And it practically evaporated

30 minutes later and I’m waiting for it to make a move

It moves

I shoot

I miss

It crawls underneath the table next to the lamp

I spray near the lamp anyways, as a warning

I complete my mission

I turn off the rest of the lights and run to my room

And now, fueled with paranoia, I’m constantly sneaking glances at the door, like it’s gonna break in at any moment

My weapon of choice right next to me

I don’t intend to miss this time

(I swear spiders exist to terrorize me, and in my OWN HOME!?!!!)

I’ve never done anything for Pride before. So I’ve decided to change that this year; better late than never right??

This self assigned Pride project consists of 3 stages that basically covers the entirety of the month.

So…

Stage 1: (solo portraits) introduction to ocs

Stage 2: (couple portraits) Couples of varying sexualities/genders

Stage 3: (group portraits) groups of ocs pertaining to a certain community (ex: one group portrait Lesbian ocs, another of gay oc’s, etc)

Is it a bit much????

But it’s my nature given right as a ✨🩷💜💙✨ artist, to be a bit much (who also needs to get back into the swing of drawing)

I just finished drawing a comic on a small au interaction with Steph and my cabin12 oc on paper as a draft

4 days

15 pieces of paper (one sided)

early on set arthritis creeping in

And a total of 85 frames later

And I’m finally done!!💪🏽

Now I need to draw it digitally

I don’t actually need to, but I actually do, the worm in my brain demands it 🪱🧠

Remember to stretch!!! USE THE 20/20/20 method (Every 20 minutes, spend 20 seconds looking at an object 20 feet away)

But that sounds awesome! Just make sure you're taking care of yourself and not hurting yourself accidentally! Carpal tunnel is no joke, and eyestrain sucks ass (Make sure you stretch your neck and back as well, because otherwise you'll end up like me and give yourself cervical vertigo because of the tension in your neck cutting off blood going to your noggin...Cannot recommend)
