The zoo I visited didnt have Garden Eel plushies so I made my own. They are just a spotted noodle coming from the sand lmao

These fine gentlemen are filled with pellets. Big guy is 2in diameter x 3ft long, and his sons are 1in x 1.5ft.

All hand sewn, don’t have a machine with me. The amount of times I had to rethread with a bandaid on my thumb….

The sons are all getting adopted :) I do plan to make more but ran outta buttons to use for the eyes.

So instead I took a family photo!

I got a new friend!!!

Pink toe tarantula, don’t know his exact age but seems to be more juvenile due to the size.

I accidentally got a horizontal habitat cause I wasn’t thinking. Pink toe’s are vertically inclined tarantulas. However, it ended up working out since I won’t be opening from the ceiling (which is where he’ll like to be most of the time).

I put some cardboard in and sealed it with electrical tape so I could put in substrate. I plan to get some more climbing decorations but this is what I got him for now.

He’s so shy! He wouldn’t come out of his container at first in the store, and he wouldn’t come out of his travel container. When I opened up the habitat to adjust something he slowly walked away (he was right next to the door). Im leaving him alone now to let him destress from the journey.

Any name suggestions? Im terrible at naming

Instagram support apparently doesnt think my face is mine so I cant fuckin recover it. Absolutely useless as since the scammer changed the email, instagram wont recognize my face, and I dont got my back up codes, I am forever locked out.

I FINALLY GOT A JOB!!!!!!

It’s even at the college I go to! I live next to campus, so the location and schedule flexibility are amazing.

I will even learn a new skill for future jobs (barista stuff), lots of breaks, free meal, great hours, and I can work on homework during my down time

after months of unemployment im so fuckin relieved
