You probably saw my post… and yes, it’s true — I’m engaged!! 😭💍 It’s not a prank or a joke, it actually happened, and I’m still shaking.
On June 8th, He flew me out to Turkey, then the next day brought me to this absolutely stunning five-star hotel, and proposed on the beach at sunset, because he knows how much I love the ocean and being near the water. 🥹 It was perfect. Romantic, quiet, thoughtful… everything I didn’t even know I wanted until it was happening.
I cried (a lot), he smiled (a lot), and I said yes (a lot).
I’ve been holding it close for a couple of days (it’s been 1 day… I just had to tell you guys 😭) just to live in the moment, but I’m so grateful for all the love that’s already come in. Thank you for being so kind and excited for us. Truly. It means everything.
Updates will be coming soon hopefully— but for now, I’m just really, really happy.
(I’m posting this at almost 11pm at night, he’s sleeping 😭)

Please Stop
Hey everyone,
I want to take a moment to address something very important because I’ve been getting a lot of messages lately that completely miss the point and some have even gone way beyond just “asking for more content.” After I posted about harassment toward authors in our community, it seems a few anons have taken it upon themselves to harass me personally.
This is exactly the kind of toxic behavior that has driven talented creators and many others away from this community. They left because they were made to feel unsafe, disrespected, and unwelcome. And honestly, I don’t want to see that happen here or to anyone else.
1. Asking for more content is not harassment — but harassment is harassment. Fans are excited, and wanting updates is totally natural. I love that enthusiasm! But there is a massive difference between a polite question or a respectful request and repeatedly sending unwanted or invasive messages especially after someone has said, “stop.”
2. Writing is hard work and emotional labor. Creating stories takes time, emotional energy, and care. It’s not just “typing a story” on a whim. Creators don’t owe anyone instant updates or constant content just because they share their work publicly. Demanding updates like it’s a job you’re paying for ignores the passion behind every word, and it can be really draining.
3. Sharing work publicly does not mean inviting harassment. When creators share their work online, they’re sharing a part of themselves, yes. But that doesn’t mean opening the door to disrespect, sexual harassment, or personal attacks. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected in their own creative space, including me.
4. Characters can be attractive. that’s part of storytelling. But we are not those characters. I am a real person with feelings and boundaries. They are real people with feelings and boundaries. Receiving unwanted sexual messages directed at me personally is hurtful. Being objectified or called a “tease” is unfair and wrong.
5. I do not enjoy or seek obsession or harassment. Creating stories is my passion and my way to connect with others — it’s not an invitation for personal invasion, obsession, or harassment. Those kinds of accusations or behaviors are hurtful and damaging, not only to me but to the community as a whole.
I will be turning off anon for a while, thank you.

A MESSAGE TO THE INTERACTIVE FICTION COMMUNITY
I shouldn’t have to say this, but apparently, some of y’all need a wake-up call:
STOP HARASSING AUTHORS. Stop badgering them, stop guilt-tripping them, and for the love of god, stop sexually harassing them.
Authors in this community are putting blood, sweat, and soul into writing free games and stories — for you. They don’t owe you updates. They don’t owe you romance routes. They don’t owe you your weird little fantasies. They are not your personal writing service.
Some of you are not just entitled — you’re predatory. If you're sending inappropriate messages to authors, making creepy comments about characters or romance options, or trying to blur boundaries for your own gratification? That’s not “flirting.” That’s not “engaging with the story.” That’s harassment.
If someone tells you a boundary — respect it. If they don’t update for a while — that’s their right. If they don’t write your favorite RO the way you want — tough. They are not here to cater to your every whim. They are here because they love stories. Don’t make them regret sharing them.
This behavior isn’t just “annoying.” It’s driving talented, kind, and brilliant creators out of the community. So if you’ve been part of the problem, take a step back and ask yourself what kind of fan you actually want to be — because right now, some of you are acting like the exact reason creators lock their inboxes, go on hiatus, or quit entirely.
Writers are not your therapists, your kink dispensers, or your emotional punching bags. They’re people. Treat them like it.
And if that’s too hard? Get out. We won’t miss you.

As I sit down to write this post, I find myself overwhelmed with emotions. I’m a Black Haitian woman living in America, and with the recent news of Donald Trump winning the 2024 presidential election, I feel sick and full of fear that I can not hide.
Politics has never been my main focus of my blog; I usually try to keep this space for sharing my work. However, the current political state is so deeply important that I simply cannot ignore it. The implications of Trump’s presidency goes beyond politics—they touch on the lives of everyday people, especially those of us in marginalized communities.
With Trump back in power, I am scared about the regression we will face as a nation. The fear of being devalued, marginalized, or outright targeted because of my identity is heavy to carry. I worry about the policies that could emerge, policies that may take away hard-fought rights and protections for people of color, immigrants, and those who don’t fit the narrow definition of who is deemed “American.”
I think about the impact on my family, friends, and the countless other people who share similar backgrounds. The anxiety that accompanies living in a society where our worth is questioned is exhausting.
I want to encourage everyone to engage in meaningful conversations about our future. So that hopefully next time we as a nation can make the right choice.

Hurricane Milton
Hello Everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to update you all on my situation as Hurricane Milton approaches. I am currently in the path of the storm, and there’s a chance I may lose power. Unfortunately, I was hoping to complete the update before the hurricane hits my city, but I wasn’t able to finish it in time.
As the storm gets stronger, please keep in mind that my ability to work on the project and communicate with you may be affected. While my city has not issued an evacuation order yet, that could change in the next 24 hours.
I appreciate your understanding and support during this time. I would be grateful if you could keep me in your thoughts and wish for safety for everyone affected by the storm.
Thank you, and I’ll do my best to keep you updated as time goes on.
Stay safe, Amelia <3

Micheal Reid
Micheal Reid, with his mixed heritage of Australian, Japanese, and Costa Rican ancestry, embodies a cultural tapestry that reflects the globalized world. Born into a family of influence in Melbourne, Australia, Micheal grew up surrounded by the energy of the city. His father, an Australian businessman with interests in international trade, and his mother, a Japanese-Costa Rican artist, provided him with a unique blend of cultural influences.
From a young age, Micheal's home was adorned with the vibrant colors of Japanese art, and the aromatic scents of Costa Rican cuisine often wafted through the household. The family frequently traveled. Despite the abundance of material wealth, Micheal's parents instilled in him a sense of humility and the importance of embracing the richness of cultural diversity.
Micheal's reserved demeanor and introspective nature are partially shaped by the expectations and pressures that come with being part of a wealthy and influential family. The weight of family legacy, coupled with the innate desire to establish his own identity, often leaves Micheal seeking self-improvement and personal growth.
