Things I would look for in a Monster

- Claws. Big and Sharp and Powerful to protect me, or to open all of the containers I can’t open on my own.

- A great smile, preferably with fangs. They don’t have to be pretty. Jagged, broken, snarly fangs are just fine with me.

- Fur is nice. It’s fun to play with, it’s warm, it’s fluffy. But it has it’s downsides too. It clogs the drain, shedding is a mess, I have allergies and so on.

- Scales are nice too! Smooth, they can be shiny, cool to the touch. But unlike fur they aren’t soft or warm so cuddling might be difficult.

- Big Glowing eyes. Multiple please? Let me get lost in all of them.

- Big in general, I’m okay with feeling smol as long as my monster is there to protect me.

- Oh! Bioluminescence would be so cool. Give me a glowy one and I will love them forever.

- Purring and Growling are simply a must. Clicking, hissing, squawking, and howling will also do.

- Loves cuddling and hand holding, among other things that is. I’m willing to compromise if need be, as long as I get to give and receive affection from my monster in some way I will be pleased.

Xenomorphs

♚You probably were the only one left on the ship tbh, that, or these xenos recently lost their queen and couldn’t take the time to have another grow to be a new one

♚I like to headcanon the last one, mostly because it allows for some lovely queen worshiping and sexy times

♚There’s honestly no time to settle in to your new role as queen, so there’s a lot of speed bumps until both you and your xenos adjust to each other and find a relatively good groove that allows you both to flourish

♚It’s a lot of adaptation on their part, seeing as you are not exactly as ready to fight as their previous queen, also, you’re really squishy??? What’s up with that???

♚Expect lots of cuddles. They just can’t get enough of how soft you are, as well as the fact you are a fantastic source of heat that they can’t get enough of.

4) “You love her?” the sea witch purred. “Your sea-shell girl? I could get her back.”  “That’s why I’m here.” Dealing with the witch was always a bad idea, but it couldn’t be worse than the gush of water, the writhe of fish, the net that hauled her beloved away out of the ocean she belonged to.  The sea witch smiled. 

5) They didn’t know how to navigate a tail - they were used to legs. To more solid ground than currents that slipped around, and the song hungry and burning in their throat, and the way their pinwheeling arms struggled to navigate the way that seafolk swam. Her lover had dumped her in the sea some three hours ago, some magical trade off for a fucking bitch fish who couldn’t even talk. Men.

Okay but, Merformer Sideswipe and Sunstreaker

I sorry, mindlessly dumping my brainstorming here

Identical, except for colour.

Sunstreaker finds this giant Isopod mer thing and names it Bob.

Takes Bob everywhere with him.

Either carries him in his arms when he swims or ties Seaweed around his tail so Bob can latch on.

Bob helps pick things out of his scales.

Sunstreaker loves his Bob.

Sideswipe loves humans.

Likes to hide beneath docks and listen to their conversations

Picks up on the language that way.

Will occasionally snatch things like bottle caps, keys, shoes, coins and watches.

Hoards them.

Sunstreaker doesn’t like that he hangs so much around humans.

He even starts to pick up their mannerisms.

He waves at Sunstreaker and gets an odd look in return.

The twins don’t travel or live with other mers, they just stick to together.

Smol mer family that only consists of them and bob.

Sideswipe also has a sea animal friend

Sunstreaker is convinced it’s any imaginary friend since ‘Crusts’ is never around.

(No one knows that Crusts is actually a big ass great white shark)

Sunstreaker is big on grooming himself and rubbing himself against corals and plants to clean himself.

Also gets Sideswipe to groom him.

And then pins his twin down for the same treatment.

Love to race each other and twine their tail around each other

They sleep all curled up, blanketed by each other’s tails, Bob in between them.

Made their home in a little underwater cave that you can surface in.

Sunstreaker is quite talented at carving pictures into the cave walls with rocks.

Also likes going onto beaches and drawing or sculpting in the sand.

Sideswipe gifts him obnoxious amounts of shells because he knows Sunstreaker loves all their different patterns and shapes.

The only thing that Sunstreaker likes from humans is their art, and their hair braiding.

Particularly love the fish tail style

(He and Sideswipe have very long, black hair)

The race a lot, but after one of them got lost racing when they were younger they’re more careful.

Sideswipe sometimes likes to sneak around to beaches and tickle and touch people’s legs and feet to freak them out.

They fluff their frills out when they are mad or irritated.

Sideswipe’s tail lifts up and hangs over his head when he’s happy.

Though hanging around humans and so close to the shoreline ended up getting him caught by a fisherman

And dragged up by a net.

Who brought Sideswipe to an aquarium owned by Sentinel Prime.

Sunstreaker chased the boat for as long as he could but he eventually got tired.

Mers are still a rarity, and aquariums don’t have that many mers in them yet.

There’s only one other mer in the aquarium.

Sideswipe doesn’t get dumped into the personal one Sentinel had for him in his office.

He gets put in a bigger one with the other mer.

Who introduces himself as Megatron.

A huge fucking mer.

Megatron is much, much bigger than Sideswipe.

Sideswipe next to Megatron is like a Siamese fighting fish next to a great white.

Megatron is nice, quiet, but has an intense hatred for humans, and Sentinel.

Sideswipe hasn’t interacted around mers that aren’t Sunstreaker, and he gets nervous. Doesn’t know ho to react, so he hides int he plants.

The twins can also change colour to camouflage.

Meanwhile Sunstreaker is looking everywhere for Sideswipe, killing humans left and right.

Especially fisherman.

He yanks them off their boats or off the docks and either drowns or mauls them with his claws, then dumps their bodies on land as a warning.

-This babe is honestly so elated, and demands to see any and all photo ops you’ve been in no matter how small.

-Someone made a remark bodyshaming you? They better be prepared to have their career ruined, because Metta will not let anyone bring you down.

-He’s there for every and all photoshoots you’re in, to be your personal stylist and also to make sure nobody gets too handsy with you, although you remind him that it’s part of the job and that people get handsy with him all the time (he pouts at this, but a smooch to his face have him wondering what he was pouting about, and gosh his internal fans are going haywire).

-your b i g g e s t fan. Always cheering you on, making sure you know that he is with you every step of the way. You’re also his number one model (besides himself) for any and all his business ventures, so be prepared to have quite the busy schedule.

-wow kid, at least he knows why his phone keeps overheating. He was downloading photos of you from the internet. But in all seriousness, he’s very supportive of everything you do, although some of the outfits you wear make him raise a brow bone sometimes.

He will also fight for your honor against these ‘internet trolls’ do not doubt him.

-This baby whimpers at you whenever you dress for a new job, almost ruining your perfect hair and makeup with how many kisses he’s planted on your face. And honestly Papyrus, how do you expect them to wear that outfit again if you keep creating rips all over it?
