my head hits the pillow as i try to sleep but crossing my head is quite different from sheep instead i am begging god my soul to reap

then off to the shower i am forced to go my vision and thoughts are all filled up with snow why i'm cursed with this life i simply don't know

in the hazy steam i lose all of my thought i'm living a life that i wish i were not i look at my body and wish it would rot

then after a dry off my clothes i adorn the sickness in my head has me so forlorn oh why god, oh why did i have to be born

and so i make my way to attend my class my lack of focus is a pain in the ass if i had the will then i likely could pass

the rest of the day it just passes me by the rush of it all simply feels very dry my only comfort is the thought i could die

then in the evening who i'm with don't import when i'm not alone i am slightly in sort but when solitary i have no support

so when i have a night with no one around a blade i produce and make cuts so profound and slice myself up until my thoughts are down

finally with my blood strewn across the floor the pain of the day and the knife is no more and so i return to the bed i adore

again i rest my head for some meager rest i say to myself that i'm trying my best and maybe it's true, but i am still depressed
