“ KING FOR A DAY ” - Pierce The Veil ft. Kellin Quinn. For some time I got close to this amazing and beautiful world made of pizza, skateboarding, vans, etc. and of course I found a lot of new bands, one of these are the Pierce The Veil. I love it how to move from verses in melodic parts to scream parts and I love the energy that they bring into play their songs. I chose this song because it also sees the collaboration with Kellin Quinn, singer of Sleeping With Sirenes; moreover, as all the songs of my playlist, I love to play it on drums. “A BEAUTIFUL LIE“ - 30 Seconds To Mars. For the uninitiated, 30 Seconds To Mars is one of my favorite band, at my home I have all their CDs, I went to hear them live many times and one of the necklaces that I wear around my neck, has their symbol, I can proudly say to be an Echelon. This song is in my list because he couldn’t miss, it’s one of the many songs of 30 Seconds To Mars that I studied and that I can play on drums. Moreover Shannon Leto is one of my reference points on drums, I love his style, the energy with which he plays and I love his drumset, composed of classical elements and electronic pad. Questa canzone è presente nella mia lista perchè non poteva assolutamente mancare, è una delle tantissime canzoni dei 30 Seconds To Mars che ho studiato e che so suonare alla batteria. “I’M NO ANGEL” - The Winery Dogs. How beautiful this song? I think that The Winery Dogs are one of the best super groups successful in recent times. I love the energy and the melancholy of this song, and since Mike Portnoy is one of my favorite drummers, also I love playing it on drums. To my great fortune last summer, along with Alesiter, I went to see the live The Winery Dogs, in a rain storm and lightning, but I always remember this concert as one of the most beautiful that I have ever gone. Penso che i The Winery Dogs siano uno dei super gruppi meglio riusciti degli ultimi tempi. “IGNORANCE” - Paramore Today, the song that I want to share with you is “Ignorance” of Paramore. I chose this song to be included in my list of “60 favorite songs” because I love to play it on drums. Sex and Death - Motorhead

Here it is. another Motorhead song. yeah.

but you actually can’t imagine how big is their influence on me… Sex n Death (i know “n”… just lemme be a cool kid, c’mon) is a kinda “ordinary” Motorhead song but it has this super cool stop when the lyrics go:

Be damned, if you can’t handle it, (We) hope you break your neck- Sex and Death!

that hits you in the guts like a motherfuckin cannon ball, this is for sure a party tune for its velocity and raw energy typical of most of Motorhead’s songs plus its canon-like intro is something totally unexpected that contributes to make this an asskicking song.

Tip: Put on yer plugs, blast the volume, open a stout beer and enjoy this tune.

“OUTSIDER” - Against The Current. The words of this song actually represent what I am, an “Outsider”. While many of the people I know have understood everything in life, I feel lost, maybe because I look for something more. I don’t care how many slaps take from life and how many disappointments there will, every time I will feel alone and I will not find a place to call home, I know this song remind me who I am. Of course this sometimes makes me pain, but nevertheless I know that it will get better and I will resist; and although from the outside I’m alone, I am free. The text says these precise things, and that is why it is one of those songs that I will always carry with me. It is also beautiful to play and sing. Mentre molte delle persone che conosco hanno capito tutto dalla vita, io mi sento perso, forse perchè cerco qualcosa di più. Non mi importa quanti schiaffi prenderò dalla vita e quante delusioni ci saranno, ogni volta che mi sentirò da solo e non troverò un posto da chiamare casa, so che questa canzone mi ricorderà chi sono. Certo questo a volte mi fa stare male, ma nonostante tutto so che andrà meglio e resisterò; e anche se da fuori sono solo, sono libero. Il testo dice queste precise cose, ed è per questo che è una di quelle canzoni che porterò sempre con me. Inoltre è anche bellissima da suonare e cantare. “ UN SENSO “ - Vasco Rossi. "Un senso" is one of many songs that I listen and play of Vasco Rossi, but it’s one of the few that leaves me breathless so is beautiful! In Vasco Rossi’s concerts you run wild, jump and sing your hearts out; but at certain point, the lights go down and start those songs that the entire stadium sings and you get the gooseflesh of excitement. This is one of those songs that reminds me of those moments, that I experienced myself, when I went to hear live Vasco in 2014 with Federico. Stay Clean - Motorhead

Woah, so… let’s begin this… i gotta admit i was kinda young when i first met Lemmy & Co. but the one thing immediately hooked me was his goddamn bass tone… it’s the fartest thing from THE traditional concept of “Bass Tone” (if you accept there’s a “traditional bass tone”, which i don’t) but it pops out so greatly between the guitars n drums that it’s totally impossible not to recognise it out of thousands bass tones… Lem was an incredible rhytmicist and his attitude, playing n singing style will always be with me no matter whether i’m playing jazz or black metal.

About this particular live version i love the bass solo n Lemmy’s stage presence which is outstanding as always.
