During his seventh year at Hogwarts, Sirius was extremely afraid of losing touch with James and Remus (and Peter...) when they would leave school. That's why he wanted to share a flat with them later, except that James refused to live with Lily, and then the war happened. So, at 17, when sirius found the Mirror of Erised, he saw himself in his twenties, surrounded by James, Remus, Lily, Marlene, Mary, and Regulus, and everyone would be happy. Twenty years later, after escaping from Askaban, the mirror still shows him the same thing.

Durant la septième année a poudlard, sirius avait extrêmement peur de ce séparer de james et remus (et peter...) et de les perdre de vu quand ils quitteront l'école. C'est pourquoi il voulait faire une coloc avec eux plus tard sauf que james diras non pour vivre avec lily et puis y a eu la guerre. DONC, en ce regardant dans le miroir du erised, Sirius ce voyait dans sa vingtaine, entouré de James, Remus, Lily, Marlene, Mary et Regulus et tout le monde serait heureux.

20 ans plus tard, en s’échappant d'Askaban, le mirroir lui montre encore la meme chose.

Because while Sirius is still deep in denial and internalized homophobia, he's convincing himself like "it's okay, i'm not gay, anyone would want to kiss Remus once in a while, he's just objectively hot"

Except Remus is awkward and quiet when not around friends, he's too tall like he grew up too fast and doesn't know what to do with this extra height, his scars scare people away, he wears grandpa sweaters, drinks tea in his free time and goes to sleep at 9 pm, he can't flirt for the life of him (even though he could bc he's witty and sarcastic) because he has no self-confidence and it shows.

He's basically a loser (affectionate) and Sirius is like "it's okay, no need to panic, he's the sexiest man on earth but that's just an astute observation, no gay thoughts here"
