"Wizard Pit," another new song being workshopped by The Blue Myself.
Lyrics:
Nightshade on her lips
Ratties on her shoulder
Been a harvest moon
Since she let me hold her.
The waggle of her hips
The shadows in her clothes
I’ll never see again
The warties on her nose.
She ascends like a bat in a bubbly fit.
I fell into a wizard pit.
A dog without its tongue,
A frog without its toe,
Part of me is gone,
And I’m sinking low.
If I were a bard,
I’d search for her in hell,
But I am at the crossroad
With no soul left to sell.
She ascends like a bat in a bubbly fit.
I fell into a wizard pit.
She ascends like a bat in a bubbly fit.
I fell into a wizard pit.

Here's a new song I wrote in Tahoe last week. It started out as a folk song, but evolved of its own volition into folk-reggae.

Two Feet Tall - lyrics and chords
E Esus E F#min B7
She was fated to be eliminated.
Esus E F#min B7
She was bloated the day she was promoted.
A Bmin-sus C#min
She was flailin' like a Palin,
Dmaj7 A
And shining like a nickel,
Bmin-sus C#min
And feelin' like New Zealan',
Dmaj7 B7sus6 B7 B7sus6 B7
While mining for a pickle.
She was grumpy and dressing pretty frumpy,
She was angry at silly Lily Langtree.
She was diving off the ivy,
Then crashing on the pavement,
And sobbing like a robin
Dmaj7 B7sus6 B7 B7sus6 D7/B
While splashing cross the raiment.
G F#min
I love a girl who's only two feet tall,
Bmin7 D7/B
Her eggs are barren, but she cares about toaster ovens.
G F#
I like the curls that hide her prayer shawl.
Bmin7
Her legs are buried deep in the earth's crust,
D7/B B7 D7/B B7
And I lost in her bust.
She was psychotic, and half-auto-erotic,
She was mothering, so much so she was smothering.
She was flying neath the oceans,
While hiding from the fighting,
And crying crystal potions,
Confiding in the lightning.
I love a girl who's only two feet tall, &c.
She was gorgeous as Florida's mortgages.
She could plagiarize, and she had a teenager's thighs.
She's stalling to be famous,
She photo-bombed on Fox News,
She's crawling to Uranus,
With Pluto on her socks and shoes.
I love a girl who's only two feet tall, &c.
I love a girl who's only two feet tall, &c.

Recording for the record "Pink Mary's Consummation," song no. 6b from my song cycle The Theosaur Slayer. Please "like" / follow our band The Manna Tease on the facebooks:
Pink Mary's Consummation - lyrics
Before they crossed the Mississippi from Missouri, on Highway 50 in their motorbike,
Joe Lawrence told Pink Mary, Gee I'm hungry, let's stop maybe for a picnic,
At a military cemetery,
Pink Mary was very wary.
James A. Garfield went to pee at the cemetery lavatory, & Joe laid Mary on a blanky,
She felt wonderful but weird, & she stroked his beard, & he kissed her on her belly.
Joe's golden eyes made her realize she was devised for awesome things.
So she pulled off her clothes & placed a rose thru the ring where his nose had been.
At a military cemetery,
Pink Mary was very wary.
Her body sung electric,
Like insects at a picnic.
They were surrounded by white vans, & told, Fornication is strictly banned on military premises.
Do you know an ancient man? he's been attacked by fire ants, he's been taken to V.A. hospices.
There on the river was a medical center where their elder was being nursed.
Garfield had been ravaged by savage insects, he'd be dead if he wasn't cursed.
At a military cemetery,
Pink Mary was very wary.
Hurry, we've got to go,
Said Anamnesis Joe,
So they grabbed the Garfield's carcass, & escaped out the window.

...wherein our hero, Special Agent Francis, goes to Arkansas City and finds it unglamorous. He meets Police Detective Pete Ditty, who has been investigating the murder of the town's mayor. But when he interrogated the short minstrel, he was advised to seek Pink Mary, currently being held against her will at the Kaw Lake Compound.
