Good morning. It's the hardest frost of the autumn here in the Norfolk countryside this morning. The chickens have a boiled egg with a drizzle of sunflower oil to keep them insulated all day and Muddle, our cat who likes to roam around the village only coming in at night is going to be kept in today. He's currently protesting by meowing with gusto, but he's at least 13 and it's too cold for old bones with a top temp of just 4 today.
