fun radiostatic au fic idea

Inspired by Miraculous ladybug love square shenanigans

alastor is a radio host who keeps his identity a secret simply called The Host

Vincent aka vox is a v-tuber (ha get it V …shoot me) who also keeps his identity a secret

they both use their platform to rant review and other wise share their opinions on all sorts of topics and they built a rivalry bc they have such contrasting opinions (obvious)

alastor as the host is charismatic extroverted the kind of person people think would be so fun to be around

But alastor in a public setting is cold and stand off ish Only warm with really close friends

v tuber vox is loud confident and witty. He writes a script for all his videos because

Vincent in person is awkward and anxious

now for the love square shenanigans

Vincent crushes on alastor but hates the host

he idolizes alastor for being so in control and not being afraid of being himself while finding the host inauthentic and stand up ish

alastor crushes on vox bc he finds him intriguing and on his level intellectually meanwhile finding Vincent boring and annoying

Neither are aware of the others persona and know of each other in person through a mutual friend, Rosie

she’s the only one with braincells and figures the whole thing out and tries to set them up but they’re idiots

and that’s it that’s the concept lol

keep thinking about the midsummer’s night dream inspired fic I thought of for radiostatic and adamsapple but I can’t even finish the fics i already started

And every time I try to keep it solely radiostatic/adamsapple my brain wants to also force in staticapple bc I love all 3 ships

But in case I never get to writing it the premise is that Lucifer needs to remarry now that Lilith is gone and he wants to be with Adam (who has come back as a sinner). But is not allowed bc hell hates him for leading the exterminations.

overlords and high ranking hell borns are the only ones he can pick from. Vox seeing an opportunity for power offers himself up (he also is trying to get over a broken heart caused by alastor and Val but mostly alastor)

vox is seen as a good choice bc he powers most of hell and has skills in managing his souls and a company.

whoopsie he catches feelings for Lucifer too but has his heart broken a third time when he discovers that Lucifer and Adam are a thing but he still tries to make things work w lucifer

meanwhile alastor is starting to realize uh oh he does like vox and he just lost him to Lucifer and tries to win him back

but yikes Lucifer might be catching feelings for vox too and is feeling bad for his affair w Adam and things only get messier from there

anyways just an idea might or might never write this

my backstory for vox is that his dad was a salesman and mom stayed at home, it was a loveless marriage with her neglecting vox and dad always working but vox did get his phrase “trust me/us” from his dad using it in his sale pitch

anyway vox runs away to be an actor in the 30s but makes enemies in the industry and gets blacklisted

Later in he uses his small amount of fame to start a cult

in all fairness to Husk it wasn’t his choice… it sure would cause more drama if Vox ever found out why

super late to the whole redesign trend but I couldn’t get this au idea out of my head

I wanted alastor to have more voodoo influence in his design but I honestly think I just copied dr facilier from princess and the frog

as for Vox his sinner form is perhaps the worst for him. He doesn’t really have a body but instead forever trapped in a tv with a sentient table kinda moving him around

as for the au I titled it trapped au focus more around vox. Instead of landing randomly in the city he landed near the Morningstar household where Lucifer brought him in and used him as a magic mirror to spy on the denizens of hell. alastor would then break into the mansion to steal some magic books but vox begs him to take him too and that’s how they become acquainted

Unfortunately for vox like Lucifer alastor just kinda sees him as property rather than a person they eventually have their fallout where Al throws him in a dumpster and Val will come along and take him next.
