It has been scientifically proven that altered states of consciousness can be reached via meditation, nature-bathing, chanting, breathwork, yoga, martial arts and dance not to mention various other natural methods used by indigenous and other ancient cultures.
Altered states of consciousness such as these, offer the brain break that modern Western culture/status quo living, for the most part, avoids. Yet, it provides us direct access to our own Higher Source energy, what people call God or Oneness or All that Is. It is a kingdom frequency offering unsurpassed and unparalleled healing and soothing counsel.
The swiftest path to emotional pain relief is via altered states of consciousness.

~ Retrieving Stillness and Gathering the Gold
The condition of receiving love from someone specific
Will always vary
Even in alignment
Using this means to prove or perceive loveability
inevitably causes unnecessary tension and stress
Little by little,
Hour by hour
If we can begin the search of finding love in the place it unconditionally exists
We can begin the path of true Creatorhood
If you can control your mood
And support yourself through growth when you can't
The ability to recognise the FEELING of
Who we are becomes experiencable
as we naturally seek out what draws our interest and appreciation
And then identify those positive emotions
As the true source of our identity
And the emotional helm of the heart
The accomplishment of the ability to feel the emotions (which produce more of the same and the same)
Are the gold you have gleaned
From your every lived experience.

Everytime you wake
Everytime you sleep
Each time you take a step back
And breathe
When you can feel your own body
When you finally let go in the dance
When meditation hypnotises you
When you are maha-mantra entranced
Laughter and merry sounds
Nature, feet on the ground
Fun, bliss and reverie
That is receptivity
That is when you divinely receive
You call it 'Source'
But we call it 'WE'
Us looking through your eyes
Seeing as we see
You hearing us
Listening to life as you
And when your heart feels the thrill, contentedness, satisfaction or enchantment
Of our unified pleasure
You have finally turned the volume down
On all the thinking that misaligns our neverending symphonics
For the presence of Our Love
Is never silent.

Once we've allowed ourselves
safe passage into the "West Wing"
of our heart's temple;
the site where all of our most tender dreams
and least-loved fragilities
have turned us into scornful beasts
swiping away self-appreciation
fearing ourselves duped into the "foolishness" of full worth without reason
That is to say,
once we have acknowledged,
soothed ourselves into the openess
of sincerely seeking how we truly feel
in a given moment,
the healing happens in the instance
A new receivable desire
Has been launched in the silent request
to feel differently
on that subject.
At this point
No requirement of prolonged focus on the wound is needed.
In fact, this action proves harmful.
Instead,
spend time in a place that is unresistantly kind toward your mind: music, nature, etc.
and let the emotional transformation
Unfold.

Literally every other species on the planet is experiencing life without self-condemnation and judgement besides us. Perhaps that's why they appear to be enjoying life more often! Our circumstances don't necessarily have to improve in order to feel better. It's more that we need to feel connected to ourselves deeply no matter what through the practice of radical self-acceptance and applied focus of being present within the body and the present moment. Then, we can feel more into what we need. Am I tired? Hungry? Stressed? Lonely? Triggered? Hurt? Feeling misunderstood? And all positive change becomes possible when we become competent in supporting our entire breadth of our emotional landscapes through positive self-reinforcement, learning how to self-sooth effectively, and parent ourselves where our caregivers were unable to in childhood.

I had the privilege of visiting @crystalcastlebyronbay with a bestie just before my birthday and was blown away by the how time seemingly supends itself there. Even the butterflies are buffeted by the breeze in slow motion! And everytime a leaf spirals down it appears to sculpt the air with its own whimsical pathway. The whole place seems charged with a tangible softness, I guess from being pillared with so many gargantuan crystals, a couple of which are paired side by side like a monolithic amethyst gateway. It was definitely my jam, understandably! I guess I needed that special day as a blessing to sustain me between that moment and now. Each significant day standing alongside the other with myself between, like gigantic bookends. I can see the difference between myself now and then so clearly. What I choose, say and do now. And what I don't. How much grace, love and goodness I reach for and how much disdain, criticism and unkindness I train myself away from. There's a flow emerging. Small but mighty. A realness that submerges my doubts and rekindles my innocence. The soles of my feet buffeted by unseen breezes, my arms whimsically swirling once again. To a music only meek hearts know.
