Ah!!! English Paper Piecing is my new favorite way to quilt! Look how cute! I think i might make a bunch of "flowers" and fill in the gaps with cream hexies. Squee!

We are getting ready for the Steampunk World's fair in  a few weeks, so I've been busy crafting for that! plus, my sister and i have an etsy store now so Yay!

hopefully once the fair is done i can start working on some costumes.....

Altered Journals

They are blank inside and ready for filling with spells, ideas, poems and whatnot.   I love making them... so fun!

Good Morning Desert Bluffs!  Aren't we all so happy that we are allowed to wear our mandatory Strexcorp sweater vests every day? I know I am!

Pattern: Based off the Abrazo pattern from Knitty, but without the cables. I embroidered the argyle pattern on afterwards.  Yarn: some super bulky stuff.  This is a super quick vest pattern and I might actually knit one for me sometime. This one, however, is for Ryu's Kevin Cosplay.

TA DA! I got a new sewing machine! It's an entry level mechanical model, so nothing fancy, but will do what I need it too (which is mostly just tons and tons of straight stitching) But isn't it super adorable???   I need to think of a name for her.

Flower Circle Skirt Just a simple circle skirt out of this great fabric I found at Hancocks. And it was on sale! Materials:  2 yds brushed cotton, elastic waistband Time:  about a 1/2 hour. These are really quick to make!
