these people just wanted to get food for their families, something as basic as flour, one of the things that the very core of humanity is built on, and israel used it as a trap to murder them in cold blood

evil is not enough of a word. there is not a word to describe what they are doing to palestine. they are bleeding her out, they are torturing her and crushing her and hoping that nothing is left to remember her by when they are done. how can anyone stand and watch what is being done with indifference? how can you watch this level of human suffering, this crime against life and feel nothing, do nothing

Today, the United States vetoed a UN resolution that insisted that Israel immediately cease its mass killing spree in Gaza.

Over 100 have been killed. Every single one of them hungry. Every single one of them has someone waiting for them to come back with the bag of flour.

Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war against innocent civilians. Israel ambushes starving Palestinians and shoots them. Israel is not fighting a war to defend itself. This is another episode of Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza.

If any of you ever feel like what you're doing for Palestine isn't helping anything, I'll tell you right now it's helping me. I know it is fortifying all of us who have been in this fight for years to see so many people willing to speak up. It has never been like this before.

The tide has already turned. The fact that #free palestine will have new posts everyday, that helps me. It helps my mental health knowing that Palestinians are less alone now than ever.

Yesterday I read some verses from the Quran talking about how "the blame" is not with those who wish to help but cannot, but with those who CAN help and do not.

Truly I do not care if all you do for Palestine is post in that #free palestine everyday, that is still more than many people with the means to do even more would do.

We see you. We see you standing in solidarity with us and with Palestinians. We love you. Thank you.

I am sharing a petition link sent to me anonymously so that people can support United States Representative Rashida Tlaib before tomorrow (November 8th, 2023 EST).

The house voted to advance a resolution to CENSURE Representative Tlaib's because of her openly criticizing Israel and supporting Palestinians. Although this is a clear attempt to SILENCE her, let's show our solidarity and support to Representative Tlaid, and demand the censure be removed.

Representative Tlaib has EVERY right to call out the horrific killings of innocent Palestinian civilians as much as she has for innocent civilians killed by Hamas.
