Aldo Garcia, Director of Rooms Operations for The Standard, Hollywood shares his Standard Tips for his favorite spaces of the hotel: “My favorite nonpublic spot of the hotel is the rooftop. I usually go up there to take a few minutes to enjoy the view. The sunsets are spectacular and I cannot but just daydream looking down Sunset Blvd. My favorite public space is our pool deck. The space is a peaceful oasis in the middle of West Hollywood that transforms into an amazing open venue for events and parties. My kids love a staycation here and playing ping pong!” 🏓

Artist Zoe Buckman presents her latest body of work, “He Calls This Talk Banter”, which can be seen on display now at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach throughout Art Basel. These statements are ones that Zoe herself has either said, heard, remembered or read in the past year addressing topics such as sexual violence and BDSM. If you’re in the area, we encourage you to stop by and walk through the property to experience them for yourselves.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of her neon works in the series will be donated to Miami's Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center.
