never forget how fucking funny DCAMU Alfred and Damian's relationship was. Alfred fucking hated that child and it was hysterical. Damian barely even did anything and Alfred had already decided fuck this kid. the day after 10 year old Damian arrives at the manor and he's doing his normal katana training in the garden, Bruce and Alfred watching him slice the air around these hedges, and Bruce is trying so hard to be positive while Alfred stands next to him stone cold just 'i hope the bush beats him' and Bruce is just like 'dude that's my son'. the next day Bruce is at work and he gets a text from Alfred just 'hey btw Damian left lmao' and as he reads the text Bruce walks into his office to find Damian there. there is no goddamn way Damian was missing for that long before Alfred noticed he was gone it was literally Alfred's one job to keep an eye on him that day. i bet you anything Alfred clocked him leaving and was just like 'well that problem sorted itself out' and gave Damian like a couple hours head start before alerting Bruce in the hopes that they wouldn't be able to find him. Bruce probably let him know afterwards like 'oh dw i found Damian he's safe, we're on our way home right now' and Alfred was just in the kitchen at Wayne Manor like 'FUCK.'

this man had it out for that brainwashed ten year old and it was the funniest thing about that universe hands down.
