Should I make an intro post to me as the host of the showdown? I've adopted a new nickname recently and maybe I should like...actually introduce myself to you guys in a way. Super late, I'm aware, just thought about it tho.

That was a fun showdown. I'm glad you all seemed to like it, and the final showdown was surprisingly close!! I'm impressed :) Well, unfortunately I don't have anything super special to say about this victory - I kinda saw it coming with GLaDOS having swept the first tournament. I will put them against each other in the winners' showdown. Round 1. Try and stop me. Anyways hope to see you all in the next one!!

hey im confused, i heard talk of reruns?

Oh! Yes, I should probably explain. Reruns are something I do here on the polls where I bring back a certain number of villains from past tournaments. I would like to only limit it to two, but with past struggles to fill the brackets it can be more. My only stipulation is that there cannot be more than 3 villains from the same fandom per showdown, so just be weary of that even though it's an unlikely problem to run into.

A rerun can be any character from a past showdown except the winner of any showdown OR if they've been rerun already (2 showdown cooldown[?] Still figuring it out since this is relatively new).

Also, seeing as how massively Magolor swept the polls I'm tempted to say in the sake of fairness and to not have a super obvious winner before the new showdown even has its brackets up that the other finalist from the last tournament is on cooldown for only 1 tournament. So if you want to suggest Magolor he *may* have to wait a showdown before I reinclude him. However this rule is currently in speculation and not a totally 100% solid rule right now, so you can leave him in my askbox but it might not get anything done with it until showdown 5.

Sorry if any of this is incoherent, I was on a trip yesterday that kept me up for 24 hours straight and woke up a bit less than an hour ago.

Oh my god Smollusk didn't even cross my mind! I'll definitely include it! As for Octavio, I'll keep him and Ganondorf out until next showdown just to be safe. Thank you for your suggestion, it would've totally flown over my head!

are submissions from media so obscure basically nobody else has heard of them also allowed. or does the virtually guaranteed to lose round 1 no matter what ruin it

I allow any villains no matter how well known or obscure, the knowledge they likely won't make it past round 1 is a burden for the submitters to consider before requesting a villain. I actually really love learning about all the villains from yalls media's that you end up submitting so I tend to like more obscure villains despite their chances of victory being abysmal

What if once you're finished with enough polls and tournaments You make a Big tournament with all the winners and then you close the account or sum

I'm planning on doing this but I'm not gonna close the blog. I might go on a hiatus for a while but after that it might be an effective total reset of the showdowns. Any villain, previously run or otherwise, can come back to any showdown - no limits. Newcomers allowed, old and previously rerun characters allowed, anyone as long as at one point in their series of origin they come from they were a major antagonist (hence why King Dedede and Vergil and whoever else i keep getting spammed with "(x) isn't a villain" was in the showdown).

Anyways. Feel free to add more villains in my askbox for next showdown since tomorrow the polls for showdown 3 end 👍

Propaganda for Wheatley

Literally just his entire betrayal scene. The music, the choreography(? Is that the right word?) THE VOICE ACTING. I may be absolutely horrified of Stephen Merchant but god I’d be lying if I said his performance was bad

This scene is what got me into the fandom. This beautiful, wonderful scene. The way you can tell exactly when Wheatley betrays even when you’re only listening to the music by itself is amazing. The beautiful red light underneath Wheatley showing how he’s corrupted by the chassis

All that built up sadness and anger in Wheatley finally coming out as he yells “I AM NOT A MORON” god it’s just amazing

I love this orb. I love him so much. He’s not a moron, he’s just hurt. He just needs someone who cares about him. Who loves him for who he is

I wish I could on and on but it feels impossible to put my love of this scene into actual words
