Money Jar /Bottle Spell

The spell covers a lot of hoodoo, Its a bottle / jar spell for money drawing and can be ‘fixed’ - that is, give the opportunity to work- by burying it close to your home, as an alternative to actually keeping it in the house.

You shall need 

5 of each of the following. 

Cloves

Cinnamon sticks

kemels of dried corn

kennels of dried wheat (or 5 teaspoons of wheat flour)

pennies

10p pieces

20p pieces

sesame seeds

pecans

whole allspice. 

And a bottle / jar large enough to hold all the contents with a tight secure lid. 

Method.

Put all the ingredients into the jar / bottle, making sure the top is secured tightly. Shake the bottle/ jar with your power hand for 5 minutes while chanting something like. 

“Money gain, Silver & herbs, Copper and grain hear my words”

Place the money bottle/ jar on a table somewhere in your house leave your purse or wallet near the bottle when at home. 

When some money comes to you, its a good idea to pass on some of your good luck to charity or the needy.

The Dream Job Spell.

If your thinking of looking for a new job or needing a long waited promotion, this could be the perfect spell for you. The ritual is best done on a Monday evening during the new moon. 

You will need. 

An Altar

A small mirror 

A white candle 

A  new pin

Matches 

A piece of silk

Method. 

On your altar, arrange the objects you need; place the mirror in front of the candle and the pin in front of the mirror.

Light the candle and pass the pin through the flame three times. As you do so say the following words. 

“O tool of the art, I purify you in the flame, Be thou cleansed to do my bidding and hear my charge. At this night”

Then hold the pin gently in your hand, over the mirror, and recite the following words 

“I charge thee by the powers that be. By the Ancients Gods & spirits that guide me. Point the way to the job that is right for me. put my feel upon the right path. And whenever thou art stuck. Lend your power and influence so that i shall prevail. In my quest. And so art thou charged in the names of the Old ones blessed be” 

Place the pin upon the mirror. This will help to magnify the spell and increase its power. Leave it there until the candle has burned down. then take the pin and wrap in carefully in the piece of silk. 

When you see a job or promotion that you wish to apply for, take out the pin and stick it though the copy of the advertisement. If yours was verbal offer, write down a description of the position on a piece of paper. 

Put the paper and pin away safely, but close to where you sleep, And the spell is done.

Spell To Increase Mental Prowess

This simple piece of herbal craft uses ancient plant wisdom to help increase your mental powers and awareness. A college assignment that has been plaguing, you, or the office project that landed on your desk without warning will be done before you know it. 

You will need. 

Your project or assignment 

Dried Sage 

Dried Basil

Dill Seeds

Grounded Allspice

Grounded Coffee

Pestle & Mortar 

Sand

Jar with tight fitting lid

Teaspoon

Plate

Water

Method.

Place the sage, basil, dill seeds, and coffee into the mortar and grind them into a fine powder with the pestle.

When you are happy with the way they look and feel, add the sand and mix well. Place the whole mixture in a jar so that you will alway have some available when you need it.

For your current needs, take a teaspoon of the mixture and put in on a plate, from this amount, take a pinch of the mixture and stir in a tiny bit of water, You want to make a paste, so make sure you don’t make it too runny.

With your forefinger, paint a little bit of the paste onto the middle of your forehead, between your eyebrows. 

Gently sprinkle the rest of the dry mixture over your college assignment or work project and while chanting these words.

“Magical Mixture of plant and sand, give my work a helping hand, grant my mind the power to see, Answer to the questions that lies before me. Both brain and paper are marked by this spell. Theres is no excise for me not to do well. And so i shall begin my wisdom’s quest knowing my work shall be the best”

Litha - 21st June (Summer Solstice Ritual)

Also known as Alban Heruin by the druids. this this the longest day of the year- a day on which both light and life are plentiful. As Lord of the Forests, the Sun God is at his strongest on this day. Known at this time as the Green Man, he is often seen seated on a throne: he is often acknowledged in early churches in the guise of the Green Man, as a face surrounded by foliage. Midsummer Night’s Eve is of importance for many people because of the folk customs still associated with it. Modern wiccans sometimes mistakenly refer to this time as Beltane- Beltane is actually the word for May Festival which has its own ritual. 

This ritual is also a celebration of the Goddess. She is now with child and natures reflects this with the fruitfulness of the harvest. Now is when energy overflows; needless to say this is a fine time for magical and purifying rites. 

You will need. 

Summer herbs such as Lavender & Wisteria 

Greenery & Flowers 

Water 

White Pouch and red tie.

White Altar Cloth.

Two White Candles 

Red Candle (To represent the Sun God)

Green Candle (To represent the Earth Goddess

Cauldron

Method. 

Fill the pouch with herbs,as you fill it, think of all your negativities and difficulties being placed in the bag along with the herbs. Light the white candles. Place the cauldron in the middle of your altar. and say.

“Now at Midsummer, at Litha the time of light, I acknowledge the turning wheel for, As from today, the light begins to fade”

 Light he green Goddess candle on theft of the cauldron place the water in front of the candle and day. 

“Lady of power, I ask for your blessings.”

Light the red candle to the right of your Cauldron and say. 

“God of fertility and fruitfulness, I ask for your blessings.”

Pick up the herb pouch, hold it up while saying 

“Lord of the sun, Burn away the negativity, purify me through your powerful light”

 Ignite your pouch use the flame from the red candle drop the pouch into the Cauldron and say. 

“Great Goddess and God on this enchanted night i pray for your guidance in self-understanding and worldly perception.  Afford me delight and happiness and ward off any danger brought by my doing.”

As the pouch burns, it clears away all your negativity. When it has burnt out, signify your appreciation b pouring a little of the water into the cauldron where it mixed with the ashes.  Spend a little time contemplating the gifts of the God & Goddess.

Finally dispose of the water and ashes by pouring them into the bare earth. Leave the red & green candles to burn out.

Banishing Evil Influences

This incantation banishes hexes (an evil influence put upon you by someone else) and curses. Knot magic, because it binds the other person, has long been used for the purpose of undoing such acts, it is said that, if someone has used knot magic against you, if you can find the original cord and undo the knots (clear the curse), you can be free of it. This is one of the few times when it is considered correct to turn something back on it’s originator, a kind of instant retribution. If you cannot the original binding cord the following will surface since it represents the original burying of the bottle which is part of casting a hex.

To Clear an Evil Intent. 

You will need.

Method. 

Bury the string, after three days dig it up and put the bottle on the floor or group and say 

“A curse on me  you burned deep. To make me sick, you evil creep, I place a knot into the twine. And so your work was worked in vain.” 

Shattered the bottle and undo the knot at the same time, the original curse is now invalid. 

The curse is transferred by the power of your spell to the cord, which is then disposed of, preferably by burying. The assumption is that your magic is stronger that the person who has wished you ill.

Making Friends Spell

Some people can make friends just like that, but for others (like myself) it’s not so easy. You might be shy or worried about making the first movie (I’m worry about about both, and suffer from social anxiety and have no self confidence). You might have had to move away from your home town, or you’ve just started a new job This spell will help you to make and keep new friends. 

You will need. 

A Blank postcard

a gold pen

a Bay leaf

clear adhesive tape 

a 30 cm length of thin gold ribbon

Method. 

Do this spell on a Sunday, Wednesday or on a day of the new / full moon. The postcard is to write your request for new friends to enter your life. Take the gold pen and at the top write the word WANTED, then underline it. Now write what kind of friends you would like in your life. You could write something like. 

WANTED

Fun and caring friends at work/ school / home who like me for who I am. New friends who i can confide in. Go out with and enjoy myself with. 

When you’ve done this, stick the bay leaf to the postcard, carefully roll up the postcard into a tube shape and tie the gold ribbon around it. 

Leave the scroll on your bedroom windowsill for 24 hours so that your message will be carried to the universe, then place the scroll somewhere in your bedroom. You should soon see new friends entering your life.

Faery Happiness Spell

All spirits like the sound of music, especially rattles. Faeries are no exception. Here is a rattle or shaking stick you can make at home just for the little folk. It is based on a raise stick used by the native Americans. but instead of bringing rain, it should attracted the Faery folk into your life, together with the feeling of joy they bring.

You will need

A Small cardboard tube with two ends pieces. 

A Hammer 

450 grams of small flat-headed nails (the same diameter as the tube)

Glue

A handful of dried apple seeds.

A few rosehips 

A handful of small polished crystals.

Anything else that you rattles, that you feel would be appropriate.

Strips of material.

Method. 

Take the tube and hammer in the nails at regular intervals along it length. Position one of the end pieces and fix it in place with glue.

Fill the tub with seeds, rosehips, crystals and other rattling items. Faeries traditionally like fun things, so try to include as great a variety of things that make you smile.

Once yo have about the equivalent of a cup or two in the tube, tightly attach the other end piece with glue.

To keep the nails safely in the tube, brush glue over the cardboard and wind strips of materials around until the whole tube is covered from top to bottom.

When you wish to call the spirits of fun into your life, slowly tilt the faery shaker so that the rattling bits can fail through the  nails. then say the words of the Faery spell. 

Start hopping around the room, first on one leg then the other, still rattling and chanting. Do this clockwise in a circle until you become dizzy. Now sit down and hear the small tinkles of laughter all around you,

Balgonie Castle in Fife was originally built in the 14th century with additions made to the structure over the following 3 centuries or so. In times gone by; the castle was set of the Earls of Leven, but gradually it fell into disrepair in the 18th  and 19th century. The present  owners of the castle, the family of Raymond Morris have worked hard at restoring Balgonie for over 10 years . 

The ghost of which Balgonie is most famous for has been seen by the lair and other members of his family, and also by visitors, She is known as Green Jeannie and has been seen mostly at night, particularly in a part of the castle that was constructed at the beginning of the 18th century, As her name suggests, the apparition is bright green in color. 

There have been other ghostly sightings at Balgonie apart from Green Jeannie. Strange noises are heard from time to time, and shadowy figures have appeared, particularly in the area of the great hall of the castle. #GhostStories  #ScottishCastles #Ca

Moving on Spell

In the ever-changing housing market you can always do with a bit of luck in selling your home. This little ritual will help the sale of your property to run smoothly.

You will need. 

One Crystal

Some salt water (2 teaspoons or salt to 50ml of water)

 A photography of the front of the house your trying to sell.

One white candle.

Matches or a lighter

Method.

Do this spell for 6 days, starting on a Monday or a full moon, first, you need to cleanse your crystal by soaking it in the salt water. Leave the crystal in the solution while you prepare the rest of the spell.

Place the photograph under the white candle, then light the candle. Say the following 3 times.

“My home is available to you now, I no longer need it. Come and see me. This Happy home is calling to you. May you desire it to be your home. So mote it be.”

Blow the candle out and reuse it over the next 5 days, repeating the incantation each time. Then dry the crystal and place it in a prominent part of your house.  When prospective buyers come to view your house, the crystal will emit this positive energy to them.

One of the most popular images of witches is the cackling old hag stirring a  cauldron of foul- smelling brew made up of things that would shock a serial killer. It is general assumed that if something she is engaged in something like this, she is hexing someone. Now, spunky modern day witches know the hexing someone is going to bring it too much karmic detritus and so worth the effort But occasionally, you need to get of someone who is really bugging you! following is a karma free spell guaranteed to get rid of the unwanted sexual advances of the creepy boss, the harassing and obsessive interest of that neurotic ex-boyfriend / girl friend and the annoying work/ school mate at the next desk who keeps pinching all your pens! But just so that you no-one gets their hackles up, this isn't a hexing spell - you’re just aiming to get them out of your face, not harm them or even bind them to any significant degree.

You will need. 

9 Rusty nails 

9 drop of black pepper oil

1 knob of garlic with the top cut off.

1 red candle

1 black candle

1 cup of sea salt

1 ice cube tray

water

a freezer

paper and pen

a photo of the ones who’s got to go.

Sprinkle a circle of salt about 5 feet in diameter on  a flat surface (perhaps the kitchen floor). Sit in it with all your goodies. Light candles, placing the red one in front of you and the black one behind. Take seven deep breathes, stilling your mind. Now, focus on the photography and take the garlic and rub it on the photo ‘crossing out’ the person. Say

“I release you from my life, I banish you from my space, this I do in good grace. So Mote it Be.”

On a small piece of paper, write down all the thing this person done to bug you in a and place them in each cube of the tray. Then pour water into the tray. Take the nails and drip the drops of oil on them saying 3 times

“Barred are you from my sphere, my will is strong, my thoughts are clear”

 Now stand up and say 

“It’s done” Open the circle of salt by pushing it aside and put the tray in the freezer. As the water freezes, that person’s actions will stop against you. How long you keep the cubes is up to you. Permafrost them if you want! However if a month later you feel that the action taken is sufficient, carry the cubes outside, dig a hole, drop them in and pour bolling water over them. As they melt sense it all fading away into the past. Cover the bits of paper with earth, brush you hands off and move one.

Place the nails under the doormat of your front door. The person will not be able to enter you home. nor will thoughts of them haunt you once you step over the threshold. Bury the photo in some earth- a garden or pot plant will do. The person will leave you alone.

A Spell for personal Healing, Confidence or Self- Esteem.

This is a simple spell that can give an immediate pick-me-up when you vitality is lagging, or you’re nervous about a job interview or a first date- or whatever (This one’s best done skyclade as well.)

You will need.

1 piece of paper

1 black Pen

1 glass of mineral water

1 teaspoon sandalwood chips or power

1 cauldron  (or something you can burn the paper in- even a saucepan )

Matches and 3 charcoal discs. 

Cast a circle.  either with a full blown ritual, or by standing and inhaling deeply three times, holding your right arm at 90 degree angle to to your body and clicking your thumb and forefinger  three times, Visualize a sphere of blush-white light around you. 

Light the candle charcoal  discs and place them close together in the cauldron. When they are hot and glowing sprinkle half the sandalwood over them and write down your fears on the piece of paper, for example “I’m scared I’ll make an idiot out of myself in front of Mark/ Mary,” I feel like I’m coming down with the flue,” I’m scared I’ll forget the answers to the test’, etc  when its written down, read it three times. then scrunch the paper into a small ball saying aloud “Begone” and toss the paper on top of the charcoal disc. As the paper flares into flame know that your fear is burnt away. When the paper is just ash, sprinkle the rest of the sandalwood onto the disc, take three deep breathes and loosely cup the palms of your hands together almost together  imagine yourself to be brimming with confidence and health, so ridiculously so, concentrate this energy into a ball of rose colored light between your palms . Feel it glow hot and over the glass of water and drop the revitalizing energy  ball into it and then gulp all the water down. Don’t waster a drop! 

Now stand with your arms help out slightly to your sides with your palms upward and close your eyes. Fell vitality and confidence tingle through you say

“I am unique (health/ intelligent etc) and blessed” 

And then click the fingers of your right hand 3 times to open Circle; or open normally if you did the full ritual.

A Spell to Achieve your Dream Job.

Candles always work well when dealing with aims and inspirations. This spell introduces some of the techinques beloved of those who believing in using the Element of Fire, which represents drive, This patricular spell is best begun on the night of the New moon.

You will need.

2 Brown candles (to represent the job)

Green Candle (for prosperity

A Candle to represent yourself (perhaps your astrological colour)

Prosperity Incense such as Cinnamon

Prospeirty Oil such as bergomont, or blended patchouli and basil

Method.

Light your prosperity incense, Anoint the candles with the oil from wick to endm since you want the good things to come towards you.

Place one of the brown candles in the center of your choosen space. Place the green candle one on the right, with your personal candle on the left. (These candles should be in a safe place; they have to burn out entirely). As you light your personal candle say;

“Open the way, clear my sight. Bring me chance, that is right”

Next light the green candle and say

“Good luck is mine and true victory, Help me Great Ones, come to me”

Light the brown candle and say

“Openings, work, rewards I see, As i will it, So Must it Be”

Leave the candles to burn out completely. Each night for a week - or until the candle is used up - Light the second brown candle for 9 minutes while contemplating the job and the good to come to you.

You need to indenitify exactly what you mean by “ a dream job” its of little use aiming for something which is beyond your capabilities, though you might go for one initally which will begin to take you to where you want to be.

The Honey Bottle Spell.

Bess and many of the things associated with them - their wax, honey, pollen, royal jelly and the like - have long magical associations and can be used to delivery a magical message . This spell, which should be cast on a waxing of full moon. has it’s roots in Voodoo use honey to encourage someone to be kind to you. 

You will need. 

A small strip of paper. 

A Pen 

A Small, clear jar with a lid

Runny honey

One pink candle (representing affection and friendship)

Method. 

Write the name of the person to whom the spell is being directed on the paper and put this in the jar, Drizzle honey into the jar  (if you  try to pour it, honey has a tendency to go anywhere but where you want it to.) As the jar fills, visualize the other person being kind to you as you would like them to be. When the jar is full put the lid on and seal if with the molten wax from the pink candle. 

Keep the jar on your altar or in a place where it will not be disturbed by anyone. The energy of the spell is recharged every day by putting the jar in a sunny spot. After 6 months bury the jar and recast the spell if you need to, but by then, the other person should have been especially kind to you, (if you want people in general to display kindness to you, then simply write “All Mankind” on the paper before putting it in the jar)

Beltane 1st May

At this time the coronation of the sun god Bel is celebrated with a feast. For everyone the feasts held at Beltane (which means “Fire of Bel”) were occasions of unabashed sexuality and promiscuity when the custom was that trial marriages of a year and a day could be undertaken  when couple would spend the entire night in the woods. Even married couples felt free to behave without restraint and fear of censure. The Maypole was a symbol of this rampant sexuality, and the weaving of the ribbons as people danced represented the sacred marriage of the God & Goddess.

Any ritual performed at Beltane takes on the symbolism of a marriage feast and all the merry- taking that goes with it. Breads, cereals and dairy foods are considered at this appropriate time. This is the time for youth and vitality.

This following ritual celebrates the union of the God & Goddess. By now the Goddess is moving into her Mother aspect and her life energies are becoming more abundant.

You will need.

1 of each White & Red Ribbon

Flowers (preferably white ones with 5 petals).

Optional: Your Cauldron (you can fill your cauldron with flowers if you wish)

White Altar cloth and usual tools (you will also need to include the pentacle for this ritual).

Method

Face east and kneel before the altar (you can wear a flower garland if you wish), Put the ribbons on the pentacle with the end of the white ribbon covering the end of the red one and say

“Oh my father and mother Goddess, it is time of the union through your happy joining so shall happiness spread to all. Through your abundance, so shall nature be abundant.”

Start to plait the ribbons, thus is creating a simple maypole symbol. Concentrate hard and say.

Praise to you ancient God & Goddess. You are our creators and from your own union shall all beings rise and awaken. Sacred art thou.

Afterwards, do want you, want with the ribbons, perhaps hanging them by your mirror as a reminder of the union of masculine and feminine, positive and negative and follow up the ritual with some sort of spring blessing or activity, such as a walk in the woods to gather fresh twigs for your altar.

Dr Mr Bank Manager Spell

In the days when most people with a bank account had a bank manager (rather than a faceless voice a at the end of a telephone) this spell was sometimes cast to encourage the penny pinching bank official to take a softer line on a spendthrift customer. It can still be cast by those of us whose financial affairs are in a mess and who receive a letter to that effect them their bank!

You will need.

Five black  & 5 white candles

A large stick

A cushion

Patchouli Essential Oil

An oil burner

A Chair

Writing paper

A pen 

Method.

Letter in hand, vent your frustration on the bank by lighting the black candles then banging the cushion with the stick. now hopefully in a more rational state of mind, sit on the chair and with your hands on your knees, breathe in through your nose, hold the breathe for 7 seconds and then breathe out through your nose. As you do this, visualize yourself as the official signing the letter. See him or her as an ordinary human being with their own problems. Think of them as simply doing their job, not holding a personal vendetta against you. Now light the white candles and the oil burner, breathe in and out as describe above and focusing on the candles try to see away through the horror of your financial maze, When you think the time is right, write down on one side of the paper your monthly income and on the other side of the paper your outgoings. Be honest. If you regularly spend £20.00 a week in the pub, put it down. When the list is complete go through it and score through any unnecessary items. The gap between what come in and what goes out is already smaller.

Now, calmer and in a more financially responsible frame of mind, pen a letter to the bank (or phone them), asking for an appointment to come in and discuss your financial position. Banks do listen- at least they say they do.
