guys please please please if you have sensitive skin or you’re prone to blisters be careful w using kt tape or trans tape!!! i remember my first time trying to bind w kt tape it caused awful blisters on my side and ripped skin when i tried to take it off so please be careful use oil (coconut, olive, whatever you have) to loosen it and not just go for it and rip it off like a bandaid. water won’t do much bc they’re made to be worn through sweat so you h a v e to use something made to take off that kind of tape or oil

tip for my trans brothers out there!!!

if you’re athletic at all and can’t get a binder for whatever reason get kt tape!! it’s advertised for people that play sports and deal with soreness a lot so it’s incredibly easy to talk someone into getting it for you!! if you want a tutorial on how to bind w kt tape (even for larger chests like mine) pm me and i’ll send you links!! be safe be strong i believe in us

NEVER EVER EVER BIND WHILE YOU SLEEP

it’s incredibly unsafe and irresponsible. even if you hadn’t been wearing in during the day sleeping in your binder is incredibly dangerous due to its restrictive nature and it could stop your breathing in your sleep please please please i beg of you never sleep in your binder please be safe

hi this is a reminder to all the trans guys that haven’t been able to bind recently for whatever reason to not jump right back into it and bind for long periods of time. your body recovered from having constant pressure in the chest area and it’s not used to that compression anymore so remember to stretch and take breaks !!!

Hey could you stop cross-posting your MLM posts in the trans poc tag? Even if you’re a trans poc yourself, it’s frustrating to see off-topic posts there when you’re looking for stuff about the intersection between gender and race &/or ppl’s daily lived experiences, not sexual orientation positivity that has nothing to do with being a trans POC.

yes i can stop i’m sorry for the frustration!! i did it in case someone found a post of mine and could see that i also experience those issues and i live that every day and if needed could come talk to me, but i do see the frustration in looking for something and seeing posts like mine, so i can and will stop immediately!!
