Bite my tongue, bide my time Wearing a warning sign Wait 'til the world is mine Visions I vandalize Cold in my kingdom size Fell for these ocean eyes

Would we really have been together in another life? I had to admit of all the people, Jon had always been the one to own my h e a r t, yet the world had kept us apart (insp).

We never should have left Winterfell. Don’t you wish we could go back to the day we left? I want to scream at myself, “Don’t go, you idiot.” How could we know?

Lololol despite everything we still never saw Jon physically bend the knee to Dany and yet the very moment Jon sees Bran his knee hits the pavement, no hesitation

Maybe there’s a universe out there — happening now — where we end up together. Maybe there’s a universe where I’m the right person for you. Where I adore every nice thing you did for me without starting to resent you. A universe where you actually end up with someone who appreciates you. Where no one becomes a doormat. Where both of us can shed our baggage and curiosity and issues. If you think of it all this way, then it’s like neither of us did anything wrong.
You just found me in the wrong universe. That’s all.
Because you could have loved me forever. And maybe in another universe, I let you.

I loved that ending for every last one of the Starks, and I thought it fit them perfectly. The show’s version was rather muddled, but when you consider how these characters have been presented to us in ASOIAF, perhaps it couldn’t end any other way
If we are going to have a monarchy, no one can bring more perspective and empathy to the role than Bran. He represents historical memory and a connection to all of Westeros, including, most importantly, the lives of the common folk
Sansa was able to achieve all that she ever wanted; independent sovereignty for her people, a crown on her head, and in the future, a growing family of her own. Jon and Arya are still both within plausible reach, and can be a branch back to her past
As much as Arya wanted her family to be safe in Winterfell, she never belonged there. It meant peace to her, but once she no longer needed that comfort, she was able to forge forward with new ideas, and explore places no one else has been. Who better to confront the unknown?
And Jon—Jon, who never found a place for himself, who was always on the outside—is able to return to the only situation where he ever found happiness. As a wildling in the forest, he felt free, separated from honor and duty, and, for perhaps the first time, fully himself
The Starks are separated now on individual paths, but it isn’t forever. They each exist in the world where they will best succeed—Jon as a free man, Arya as an explorer, Sansa as a queen, Bran as a leader—but they can still return to each other, and their home

For everyone sad about Sansa being alone:
She’s Queen in the North and has to have heirs, which means she’ll get married eventually. And as queen, she gets to choose who she marries. So she will someday marry someone of her choosing, and nothing will ever convince me that they won’t build their marriage and their relationship together stone by stone, into something loving and good, like Catelyn talked about all those years ago.
And if the guy turns out to be a creep, well, she’s got a thousand Northern soldiers at her beck and call and a super protective brother-cousin with a big ass direwolf not that far away.
