✨tamsand vs. tamcien weekend✨

September 6th, 2025 - September 7th, 2025

Time is flying and soon, it’ll be time to throw down the gauntlet and show up for your favourite ship! On September 6th to September 7th, 2025, I am declaring it to be TAMSAND VS. TAMCIEN WEEKEND. Two days of creating content to represent your favourite ship and prove which ship has the most loyal, dedicated and whimsical fans*.

*For legal reasons, this is a joke and entirely friendly. We are all apart of the Tamlin Community, which is why I think this could be really fun to do.

HOW WILL IT WORK?

Since this event will be run on my personal blog, make sure to tag me and use either #team tamsand or #team tamcien. Feel free to add your regular tags for more visibility. Once I see your post, I’ll reblog it and add points to your team based on the point system below.

You can create for both. I will give points to both ships accordingly, sigh, even if I’m silently judging you double agents.

Yes, you can use the #team rhystamcien tag too. See below for more details on points.

There are no prompts. Create what you like for the weekend!

As always, make sure to tag your works properly if there are potentially triggering content. As silly and fun as I want this event to be, let’s be mindful of our fellow community members.

WHAT IS THE PRIZE? ISN’T THIS A BATTLE?

First off, bragging rights.

The prize is more delicious content for your ship created by fellow artists, writers, memers and other members of our beloved Pro Tamlin community.

The additional prize is me turning my blog into a Tamcien blog for a month and posting about Tamcien headcanons. Something, something, you guys have a humiliation kink and I know you want to see me do this.

POINT SYSTEM

It’s hard to quantify the effort that goes into each piece, so I’ll do my best to award points fairly as they come in. I promise no biases because I love you all more than my favourite ship. Points are awarded to either ship, team multishippers should still tag what their works fall under.

5 POINTS - Mood boards, drabbles 500 words or less, doodles, memes (not drawn but text over memes, etc.), headcanons, etc.

BONUS: Submitters can send me a tally of reblogs and comments at the end of the event (or each day) they received and I will give you 5 points per reblog/comments. This is NOT about popularity, but rather to encourage passive participants to get involved too! Comment on your favourite works! I will not personally be checking, that is too much work for me…

10 POINTS - Playlists, poetry, fics (500-1000) words, full sketch drawings.

+ 10 POINTS - In addition to the normal points, #team rhystamcien works gets an additional 10 points (split in half under tamsand and tamcien). That’s a lot of limbs and dialogues to manage! OT3 for the win!

15 POINTS - Fics (1000 - 2000 words), art with flat colours.

20 POINTS - Fics (2000 words+), art fully rendered.

+25 POINTS - Any work that is a collaboration with another member of the community gets an additional 25 points for their team.
