Caterpillar and Strength

Ok so I’m gonna try the Encantober thing, but I’m going to do it at my own pace.

“Caterpillar” Pedro doting over his babies and trying to calm Brunito. I can’t believe how the babies were so quiet in the movie. They should’ve been crying and fussing like crazy, but you know…it’s a disney movie. I also like to think that they left their home several days after their birth, not the day of. Like seriously, this mama just popped out 3 babies without a epidural, she should be in bed. Poor Pedro should not have been robbed of being a dad and get to spend at least some time with the triplets.  “Strength” A mother’s strength. This is her with baby Bruno and ordering some villagers around and stuff. I think even before she lost Pedro, I always thought Alma was a strong willed woman and many people were drawn to her natural leadership. I can totally see Alma establishing Encanto, while caring for her babies and because of her sacrifices the villagers would help care for the babies while building a community.  I also have a headcanon, that there was male villager who fell in love with her just as Pedro had done many years ago. But her heart was always with Pedro, so he buried those feelings, but was always there for her.

But before the kids can figure out what happened, they are suddenly kidnapped. Now their world consisted entirely of fear, threats, and the realization that they were gradually losing what they could still be called people because of. And in a moment of despair, when they were ready to come to terms with their new life, one person decided to convince them.

I can't believe I did this, but today I started posting a Butterfly & Chameleon AU fic. I still can't believe it took me SO long to write this. Anyway guys, I hope you enjoy this story! And I'm happy to finally show you my work!

The text is in rus, but I will also post it on Ao3, where I tried to adapt the text to facilitate auto-translation. I have no idea how good it will turn out, but if you are translating it into another language, then it is better to use Ao3 (if you are reading in the original language, then vice versa, I advise you to use ficbook)

My headcanon story is that when Luisa was younger, she overheard some boys talking about her. It's close to a festival and the boys are talking about which Madrigal girl they want to ask out for a dance. Boy 1: Isabella! Boy 2: Hahaha! Like hell she will say yes, she is waaaayyy out of your league. Boy 1: Oh yeah?! Then who are you going for? Luisa the Monstro. Boy 2: Fuuuuu- Hell no. To that giant?! She would crush me with her feet. Boy 3 (shy): I always liked Dolores, she has cute ears. Luisa overhearing this would rush home and cry. Dolores would have heard everthing and told Isabella. Later those boys would have plant related accidents and not attend the festival. I always thought that Luisa hit her growth spurt really fast and tall, so she was always taller amongst her siblings and cousins. And the fact that she was sheer pure beautiful muscles, she scared a lot of boys her age.

Hey guys! ✨ A few months ago, I mentioned that I started writing a fic based on my Butterfly & Chameleon AU. I'm here to tell you if you think I've stopped writing... I'M NOT! 😭

The work is progressing slower than I thought, but if there are still people here who are waiting for this fic from me, know that I am continuing only for you (@encantoisawesome, yes, I remember every time how you encouraged me in private messages and it gives me strength so far, thanks! ❤️). I can't start posting before I'm done as I'm constantly rewriting some parts at the beginning, but I can say that I'm at the finish line (ha-ha, how many times have I already said this). Also i'm here just to upset you, i can't translate the text into english, but i plan to put it on Ao3 so you can use auto-translate.

Plus the way I sometimes feel while writing. Yes, these three haunt me sometimes. And as a bonus, Bruno's face literally every time I try to write an everyday scene with him (he usually looks like this at his children)

Months of after-work studying, drawing, trial and error and all-nighters went into getting this together. Definitely a huge learning experience! There are definitely a few things that I'd go back and change/alter on my end, but all in all, I absolutely love how this turned out and Joi and I hope you guys do too!

On a side-note, we know not a lot of people are fans of the Bruno x Pezmuerto ship, but we thought it was cute for this particular AU story. If you're not a fan of the ship, we hope you'll at least stick around and finish it, and maybe even pull other things from it that you'll possibly like :)
