This is so frickin elaborate! The colors! The atmosphere, the patterns on the seat cushions!

Naturally Lodr is all prim and proper, despite being the smallest, cuddliest thing in the entire world with her super long braids and her freckled cheeks and EVERYTHING!

All while Ingrith has her skirt already pulled up way high with short pants underneath so that she's always READY TO KICK SOME ASS!!

They're still so young and innocent and have no idea of the hardships that are gonna befall them once they put on the Sorting Hat oh noooo~! It almost makes you wish they could've stayed BFFsies forever, but I'm afraid that would never have worked out :C

Ingrith is a pureblood, while Lodr is a muggleborn. One of them is going to be a high ranking witch in the Ministry of Magic one day, if not even the Minister for Magic. The other will probably have a brief career as Auror - until the war, at least.

How she’s just, you know, a bit uneasy, but... honestly not really THAT sorry cuz you don’t understand, it was necessary for her clever PLAN that is gonna save you all really I promise if you just leave her alone for let’s say a week in which she doesn’t eat or sleep, everything’s gonna be just FINE *eye twitch*

And Menedhel squints at Grul like she knows EXACTLY what’s going on in that thick, obstinate skull and it makes. Her. Blood boil.

And that bonus panel. Because yes - Menedhel, who’s not even able to lift more than three books without complaining, would absolutely grab Grul by the scruff of her neck and drag her for about a hundred miles if it only prevents this dumb orc from scheming herself to death!!

Grul’s tiny skirt is the most adorable thing, and of course. Let’s just admire the attention to detail concerning the fact that Menedhel has no fashion sense whatsoever, wearing pink shoes with her green flannel shirt ♥

Not very used to drawing animals, but this was a lot of fun! I was thinking bout what kinda Patroni the ToL protags would have in the Harry Potter universe, and of course I couldn’t resist drawing them all.

The last book of the Ties of Lapis trilogy, Flags Held High, is finished!

It clocks in at 178.000 words, meaning the entire series is now almost 500.000 words long 😮’’’’

Here you have my prints for private purposes, and I think they turned out p sweet. There’s an extra illustration right at the end of the book. It's one huge spoiler so I can't post it yet, but it looks SO frickin cool, as if I sketched it with a super sharp pencil right onto the page!

Very satisfied with this and I really hope my readers like it. The last three years writing this have been a wild ride from start to finish, and no matter what happens with these books, it was 100% worth it ♥
