I have started to achieve my 6 hour study targets. I am happy with my progress. I have the next goal of studying for 8 hours a day everyday.
I’m doing conscious efforts to reach this target so that I meet my weekly and monthly targets.
Cheers everybody! 💙

You've got this! ❤️
Have you been true to time and put in everything you got?
If yes, hang in there, keep going, do what you do and don't stop! Don't give up! You're almost there!
If no, start today, start with doing the little you and, Practice! Practice brings progress.
Are you giving your best?
How do you define your best? It's never the best. Make your best better everyday. Fight! Fight with your today self so that your future self gets better.

Yesternight, I talked to a friend who is a medico from the dream college for every medical student (in India). He told me that while preparing for its entrance exam, he used to study for 15-16 hours in a day, which is about 100 hours a week. I believe him, he really could do that.
He just raised the bar for me.
He told me it's possible and it's easy. When you're crazy to achieve something, you don't see what is happening around you, you don't care whether you're starving or whether it's time for you to take a break, you forget everything and the only thing you see is what you gotta do. (I'm not saying that you have to literally die working hard, you obviously have to stay physically and mentally healthy.)
Is it about people? Bonds with people? What would people around you say about you? Nobody stays, nobody cares, they're all forgetful. Humans are wired to be self centred. They are with you because they see some good for themselves in it. You don't want a social life where everybody's fake and nobody really likes you, right? Let go of what others think of you, whether they'll stay or not, because once you're successful, they'll surely come running to you. And if those people are real, they'll understand.
FIGHT YOUR BATTLES. Don't give excuses. Don't run away. Don't blame your circumstances but find way to make them better. There is nothing that can stop you.
Luck favours only the persistent and the hardworking.

Rant post🥲
• I'm in a puzzle •• I need your help •
Today, I heard one of the "influencers" on Instagram talk about how human beings are social being and everybody must have a social circle (I think with social circle she meant people other than family) and we must get our priorities straight to be able to spend time with them.
I've also heard people say that when you're actually working on yourself, there are people you'll have to let go because you can't have time for everybody every time, it will get lonely.
Now, I'm having a time forming my organic and unbiased opinion.. I'm wondering if it's necessary to have friends or if we need friends. What if somebody doesn't have as many friends to form a circle? What if somebody enjoys being by themselves? You can't stereotype that everybody has or will have friends. However, people still may long for friends, just to have somebody to talk to, to vent out, to hangout with, idk..

Because, if you've started, you've already got your arsenal.
And, if you're persisting through the difficulties and monotonies, you're building your kingdom.
“Start now. Start where you are. Start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with hands shaking. Start with voice trembling but start. Start and don’t stop. Start where you are, with what you have. Just… start.”

Discipline brings in motivation. If you are true and commited to your work/studies, you'll see yourself growing and getting better, you'll be motivated to chase.
The thing is, you have to do what you have to do everyday. Like an athelete who has to practice everyday, you have to play your sport if you want to win medals. There is absolutely no shortcut, you have to put in time.
You’re not always going to be motivated, so you need to be disciplined.

There are too many days that I wish
More than anything
That my mind would stop burning. Over heating. Spinning. Churning. Grinding.
That my skin would stay still
Stop itching, stop tingling, stop crawling off my bones with this
new twitching from all the tension
Building. With all the things I do wrong and all
The things I've said, all the things I keep saying
keep giving away the secret
That my mind is on fire and I'm collapsing from the core.
I'm screaming in here. Someone bring me a ladder. Put out the fire. Stop drop and roll. I can't catch my breath.
My body is on fire, fuelled by the shame
For every inch of skin too much to conform
Too swollen, too brown, too white, too curly, too straight, too bold, too loud, too tall, too strong, too dumb, too opinionated, too uninformed, too strange, too complicated, too sad, too happy, too mad, too weird, too fat, too skinny, too slow, too poor, too lazy, too driven, too lost, too tight, too anxious, too casual, too crass, too proper, too firm, too exposed, too much. Not enough. Never enough. More.
Be more.
Be less.
I'm on fire.
Stop smiling at me. Can't you see I'm on fire?
Please help me, I'm on fire.
Don't look at me. I'm on fire.
How can I help you? Do you need some light?

Celebrating Hardwork
Since kindergarten we have been made to look at faliures like they're a taboo. Once a person has failed, be it an exam or a business or anything else, the person starts to look down upon themselves, leave alone what the society does. I feel, we have been raised with the tendancy of doubting ourselves and asking questions like,"Why me, I did all the right things?!" Moreover, it's also been made obvious that every hardworking person achieves success. Did people who couldn't accomplish it not work hard? They did.
Faliures are a part of success.
It's absolutely awesome and essential to aim high, to aim to be at the top of the world, to be driven by what excites us and work tremendously hard for it but, what's also important is to settle for the hard work we put in and celebrate it, irrespective of the results. We must be grateful for everything we learnt in the process, whether we fail or succeed.
And, trying again needs to be normalised!

Limitless!
Super excited to read this book.

I hope that, by the end of this book I learn to use my mind to its best potential, unlock undiscovered capabilities and capacities, and as Kwik says, make my brain a super-brain.
We are never really taught how to learn something new. There is so much potential around everything, it is inspiring! I am looking forward to learning everyday, touch different domains academically, professionally and socially. No knowledge is enough.
If we learn to learn, can't imagine how much can we learn!

The 4 pillars of motivation

There is no single best stratedgy for enhancing motivation in a student. But remember that to empower anyone else you need the 4 C. If you can develop the four C you will able to enhance motivation in anyone.
The 4 pillars of motivation :
Consequence : The first thing you need to know is how your actions is going to pan out. You need to have a clear goal and a clear destination. You have to learn to imagine the consequence that you can achieve if you complete your task (in this case studying)
Choice : Even the most desired hobbies becomes boring and monotonous if you start treating them as WORK. Always think your studying as a choice. Don’t think “ I have to study”, change the wording and think like “ I choose to study because I want this consequence”
Competence: No matter how much we say, we only are motivated to do the tasks that we are good at. So to get motivated you need to be competent and to get competent you need to do it again and again. So at the beginning , you need to grind your way to become better at it. Then you will develop motivation on the way
Community : Peer pressure is a real thing. Even if you don’t want your friends to be all nerdy, you can join different community (like this subreddit) which will help you to stay motivated in the long run.
Hope this helps! You can also check out my studygram , may be it will help you with a bit of motivation and tips too.
