Sitting upon your throne of broken promises and fanciful lies— all of them being gilded in gold. Leaving behind your past without a second glance back. Childish merriment was replaced with the flashing lights of cameras. Grass-stained jeans turning to designer clothes. You never wanted to go back to what you used to be.

That is until the pesky problems of death threats start to become an actual concern. To your team and the authorities at least.

Meaning you have to leave behind your mansion in the hills for your parents two bedroom house in Airedale, Maine.

How are you going to deal with your past and present clashing? And what will you do about someone wanting you dead?

How do they act when they have a crush?

Scott/Scarlett: They get a bit more flustered than usual. Tripping over their words, not being able to meet your eyes, wringing their hands. They’ll sort of look uncomfortable but there’s no where else they’d rather be.

Carter: Their teasing will have a much softer edge. As they want to show you that while, yes, they’re still going to tease the hell out of you, you’re special all the same.

Edward/Elizabeth: They start absentmindedly searching for you in a crowded room. Their faces lighting up with a heartwarming smile the moment they do. They’d also start making things for you (as they have a tendency in doing so).

Victor/Victoria: They’ll try to unsuccessfully ask you out multiple times. Though they’re not suave in the slightest (at least compared to their usual level). They’ll also avoid you more often than not as they want to get their head around the new feelings you evoke in them.

Taylor: Will be much more giggly/happy than usual. As just being near you causes them to settle down. They’ll also forget about their work more as they’re trying to figure out how to broach this subject with you; while also keeping their journalistic integrity.

One of their most famous roles— a role that actually won them one of their Oscars— is a role that E absolutely loathes. They detest the movie. The way in which they acted in it. The way that they look. Pretty much everything about it; not that E would ever say anything, of course. Scott/Scarlett: Surprisingly it’s not the MC that they miss the most during the holidays; S misses their uncle the most. As he used to always take them sledding when the first snow fell. It’s a memory that they’ll always cherish and hope that they’ll be able to do with kids of their own.

Carter: Usually their parents (when they were away) but they’d never actively admit that. Nor would they admit how they’d count the minutes until their yearly holiday FaceTime with them; completely ignoring the slight perturbed feeling that would arise if their parents were slightly late.

Edward/Elizabeth: When they’re overseas, and aren’t able to bring their pets, then E misses their fur babies the most. If they’re able to bring their pets? Then they usually miss the actual smattering of friends— true friends— that they’ve been able to procure throughout their life. Mainly their best friend in the entire world but they still talk over the phone which helps.

Victor/Victoria: They usually miss their cousins during the holiday season. As they’re used to spending it with them in New York but because of their job, and the drunken festivities, they haven’t been able to make the drive over in quite some time. Which is unfortunate but they wouldn’t trade their job for anything in the world; as it has given them a purpose they’ve been searching for, for some time.

Taylor: Their best friend, that is pretty much like a brother, that they’ve known since their were little. Taylor usually tries to call him if they can’t actually see each other. Though they always make the effort to at least try because the holidays just aren’t the same without him by their side.

Does Edward/Elizabeth know that mc was engaged before? Is it public knowledge or kept under wraps?

It’s something that’s been mentioned (in the early years) but it’s one of those things that could be true or could not be. Edward/Elizabeth was told by the MCs management that the MC had been previously engaged (as the MC was told of all of their past relationships; like almost getting married).

The person in question (Scott/Scarlett) were never revealed to the public.
