Game Night

Jackson, a small paradise in a apocalyptic world. There is no space for idiocy, everyone grow faster… but sometimes adolescents, just do adolescents.

In this case Ellie and her friends organized a small game night, so music, alcohol and smoking will be the main things. Ellie is preparing the table, she puts on some games, Jessie Dina and you, take a beer from the cooler bag that Dina brought from home.

Ellie finish to set up all the table, then you guys get set at the coffe table, Dina and Ellie set on the couch on the other hand you and Jesse get two chairs and you set in front of Ellie and Jesse in front of Dina.

“so do we want to start or what?” you asked looking at Ellie smirking at her. “Okay okay” Ellie says starting to distribute the cards. For this game you team with Dina, Jesse and Ellie team up.

The game goes on for a while you and Dina are winning every match, but you started to getting tired, “guys i’m tapping out” you said throwing the cards on the table getting up. “Where are u going?” Ellie asked. “I’m going to roll a joint it’s more difficult that beating your ass” you say getting out from your backpack tabacco, the weed, the cigarette paper and filter; “ah-ha-ah really funny” Ellie says in a teasing way, “can i have a drag?” Dina asks, “everything for u girlfriend” you said in fake loving way.

“Guys why have to smoke weed right now? you know it’s dangerous right?” Jesse says “yes dad we know” you both replies, Ellie laughs.

As long you roll the joint u can feel Ellie’s eyes on you switching from your hands to your tongue when you licked the cigarette paper for closing it.

You light it up and after taking a couple of drags you pass it to Dina. “Move a bit” you say to her so you sit between her and Ellie “i’ll help you… you suck at this” you say looking at Ellie getting your chin up to her shoulder looking at her cards. Ellie stays in silence.

The games proceed and with your help Ellie starts to get the best of the game, “throw down the ace” you say in her ear, almost in a sensual way, you are a bit tipsy and high as fuck, it’s seems like you don’t give a damn about Dina and Jesse sitting there.

Occasionally you touches her cards only like an excuse for touching her hands, Ellie doesn’t seem bothered by it it’s like she is kinda enjoying this.

Soon you all are getting tired of the card game so you decided to turn on the stereo and blasting music all over Ellie’s small place.

During that you and Ellie are sitting next to each other almost embraced, Ellie is getting high as much as you, you both now have redness in your eyes, you guys are keeping teasing each other.

Dina and Jesse seeing the trend of your night decided to leave “guys we are leaving”, you turn and wave at them “byeeee” you said, “can u close the door please?” Ellie asked in a really slowly way, “yeah night guys” Dina says before shouting the door.

Now you and Ellie are left alone. The music continues in background, tension between you two grows and before you can realize it, Ellie pressed her lips on yours. Soon you felt her tongue trying to sneaking into your mouth. Her lips are fleshy but chapped due to the winter cold, as her tongue sneaks into your mouth you can taste on your tongue the taste of beer and weed from Ellie’s mouth mix with your own, closing your eyes you can sense even more her smell, it smelled of musk, citrus fruits (perhaps coming from the bubble bath you gave her on her birthday a year ago), and that purely masculine perfume note that had always characterized her. You can also feel her big hands going up and down to your spine, and the other caring your cheek.

When the breath became shorter, you separated, Ellie greens eyes are pieced, locked on yours, her pupils are bigger and a small hint of blush is on her cheeks. “Sorry i don’t know-” you get closer again and start to kiss her again, the kiss starts to get deeper and deeper again, you two split up again and looking at her you say “shut up”, for getting back to kiss her passionately.

!Best-friends to lover Ellie Williams headcanon WlW!

I’m 100% sure Ellie is the type of person that don’t get emotionally attached with people easily, so when she met you it was strange, a immediate tuning.

So basically you two became bff pretty quickly, movie nights every saturday, she basically lives more at your place that at her own.

Everything changed when one day, you two were assigned at the mini-market of the old town, and when you were fighting some infected, from no where a runner assaulted Ellie pinning her down to the ground, her pistol was too far for her to reach. When was convinced that she would be bit by it, you showed up, blasting a bullet in the infected scalp. You tended her a hand and helped her to go back on her feet, “you good?” you asked, “yeah…” she said in a sort of scared mixed with shock tone but then she looks back to you, she sees your hair shining, your eyes glowing a little drop of blood running down to your cheek, you looked like a goddess. Ellie can feel her heart skipping a beat. She always thought that her best friend was really good looking but right now you look stunning. Seeing Ellie zooming out , you shake her up a bit “Ell?”; Ellie snaps out from her thoughts immediately, “y-yeah i’m fine”she says starting to blush a little; “okay? are you sure?” you asked seeing the suddenly change of tone; “i said i’m fine!” Ellie said looking away, “jeez chill out man” you said not understanding what was up with her.

From that day Ellie acted literally so weirdly, she can’t stand eye contact, she started to refuse to stay over your place for sleeping, when you come over to her place for movie night, she acts to shy. During the movie you in chill rested your head on her shoulder she tens up, you can see that she squeezes her hand into a fist. It was so strange, one day is chill about everything, the next day she can barely looking into your eyes, it seems like she is avoid you.

You were so pissed by the all situation that you decided to go to her place. You stand in front of the door before knocking it “Ellie!. You can hear some muffle sound before a “coming!”. She opens the door, “we have to talk” you said passing through her. “What’s going on?” she says following you. You immediately turning around “you have to explain to me why you are ignoring me”, “i’m n-“ she tries to say but you interrupt her “you didn’t talked to me for three days straight what the heck!” you say clearly upset. “I’m not ignoring you, i just-“ “you what?!” you say getting closer “you what Ellie?”. Ellie looks down to the floor, “i just needed some space”, you feel a bit wound by her words; “okay so you thought that not talking to me was the right way to do it?”, “no i messed up”, “hell yeah you did!”. Silence came in the room, you seemed out from yourself “for what fucking reason you need space?” you say more calmly, “i need to figure something out” she says playing with her fingers, sign of distress, “it’s about our relationship”, you cross your arms “what about it?”, Ellie looks around not crossing your look, “i think i like you”. You don’t say anything, you have to process this information, your best friend likes you in a romantic way. “Ehm… i didn’t…”, “i know… gross right?” Ellie says in a rhetoric way; “no no! absolutely it’s not that!” you says trying to explain yourself; “No need really, it’s fine… forget it” Ellie looked down, she is trying to contain the tears. “Hey…” you says getting closer to her, you put a arm around her neck and the other caring her shoulder, “it’s fine” you says, she starts sobbing “i’m sorry”, she hugs you back, “shh it’s fine Ell”. After she calmed down you say “in fact i was going to say that i was fine with it… i mean i like you too, but i always thought it wasn’t in a friendly way… and i thought that you didn’t felt the same as me…” you say, brushing her tears away, and placing a gentle kiss on her lips; “there”. Ellie looks shocked at her, “we can work this out together okay?” you ask cupping her face, “okay” she says smiling at you.
