finally watching the walking dead all the way thru for the first time since i watched the season 7 premiere where glenn died when i was a teenager which upset me so bad that i stopped watching forever….. tell me why i finally got to season 7 again and the episode after that one, morgan is pushing carol around the glee auditorium in a wheelchair and she’s talking to some dude with a tiger. what is happening in this show.

korra slander rlly grinds my gears cause like... this girl brought back the air nation, united the spirit and physical worlds, was disabled, dealt with ptsd, AND is an lgbt rep. u can not like the show without completely shitting on her character or her story. like i get it’s not the same as atla but that’s the point lmao. if u wanted atla 2.0 just go watch atla again don’t waste ur time comparing these two very different very beautiful shows

I headcanon that both Asami and Mako fancy really really spicey food so one day they make this super duper spicey dish and they’re so proud of it that they wanna force Korra and Bolin to try it too, but those two don’t need much convincing because food. Asami goes “take small spoons, it’s very—” (spicey; and that’s a lot coming from her) but she doesn’t get to finish the sentence because Korra and Bolin have already swallowed their bowls. They both go “well, that wasn’t that spic—” but then the condiments hit them full force and they literally fly to the fridge and wrestle over a carton of milk. Meanwhile, in the background, Mako is sighing and pinching his nose — the usual stuff — and Asami is all worried and runs towards Korra with a bottle of water, “sweetie, are you okay??” and Korra is just glaring at her because “what the flameo, Asami?! wHy did you feed us pOiSoN??”. Asami is really just trying not to laugh and simply steals the carton of milk from Bolin and gives it to Korra as a peace treaty while Mako has to deal with an apple red Bolin who makes angry faces at him because — according to Bolin — “It BURRRRNNSSS!!”

it honestly kills me that atla and tlok proved animation is one of, if not the best mediums for telling intriguing stories that appeal to a variety of audiences, but instead of opening doors for more shows like them in western media, animation got pigeonholed into either more tv intended for 10 year olds or “adult cartoons” that are all drawn in the ugliest art styles i’ve ever seen and take themselves way too seriously while simultaneously thinking they’re much funnier and edgier than they actually are

maybe the motif in tlok about moving on from the past/learning to go down your own path/growing and straying away from the idea of being like somebody else is a BIG DISCLAIMER to the audience that tlok isn't supposed to be like atla and never was meant to be compared to it in the first place?

Ok so as I watched She-Ra, I got the feeling that the whole show was an allegory for being queer (The Horde being homophobic/straight/religious people and bright moon/the rest of etheria being the lgbt community and in the final season Horde Prime chipping people being like conversion therapy) but anyways I think Entrapta represents the asexual community. She was rejected/left behind by both the lgbt community (the princesses) and straight people (the horde) and was just kinda left on her own in Beast Island (I guess where everyone who doesn’t fit in goes). However she is eventually accepted back into the lgbt community (bright moon). I also just think her color scheme being purple and the whole “who needs romance when you have robots” thing screams ace
