Fdm printed this bad boy, and I think it turned out great. Only problem is I have no idea what wargame I can use him for. One page rules I guess? Maybe a Tau army?

I don't care what the haters say, fdm works just fine for minis
This one is a work in progress, almost done. I found the stl for free on cults3d under "mech."
I'm so excited about the effectively infinite possibilities my printer brings to the miniatures hobby. Can't recommend it enough.

Now that I'm posting my old admech army, here's my tech priest! One of the first models I ever painted, and I'm afraid it shows. Wasn't even confident enough to paint liquid in his sciency back lmao

A song fading out as the chorus loops is the cowards way to end a song, too unsure of itself to commit to a finale for fear of undercutting what has been built up. Instead these songs elect to putter out slowly like a candle burnt down into a numb among the dribbles of wax. Do not go about life like a fading song, be sure of yourself in whatever it is you do, because even if it turns out wrong you can take still take pride in being true to yourself.
This is why the 2018 remaster of "Here I go Again" by whitesnake disappoints me immensely.

Just realized that I never posted any Knight pics! Finished this guy in August, to be used in a mechanicus army.

Just recently found out about a skirmish game called Blkout and I'm so hyped about it. They're <1hr very lethal games heavily reliant on positioning skills, with huge mechs backing up infantry. Each side uses like ~9 models so I can throw it in my backpack and bring it anywhere. Probably gonna get some proxies printed but god do the official models look cool. The rules are free online as well!

This nebula stuff on a wraithguard head tho, with a navy blue body. I've got a vision, and it costs 75 big ones. Stop me before I make bad financial decisions. (Second photo is from reddit: vapegodwolnir, and I love the jojos looking poses on his wraiths.)

Working on my lord invocation recently, and the juggernaut itself is nearing completion. Still needs some blood splatters methinks. In other news, my test berzerker is fully done! Chaos, fill me with strength... for wraiths are looking super cool right now and I need the motivation to finish this combat patrol lmaooo. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE

Got some khorne troops as a Christmas gift, so here's my test berserker so far. I'm happy with the use of purple as a dark tone for the armor panels, and I quite like the bright gold instead of the box art brass. I'm not sure what eye color I should do, and I need to experiment with basing options, too. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!

Beast of burden progress report: When the fall semester started my miniatures motivation dipped very low, so I've had very little progress, but the overall tones have been blocked out well. Detailing and basing to come

I love it when I listen to someone's voice long enough to make my thoughts use their voice. It's like unlocking a skin for my brain. I can switch between vsauce, mat pat, Neil de grasse Tyson, markiplier, and a bunch more at will, and I just find that awesome. Like just read through this post as each of those people in your head, it's so fun

Two technicians fiddle with the knobs, buttons and holo displays of the cold, dimly lit ship chamber.
Just beyond the hatch is him. The champion. Angel of death and God of destruction. Humanity has many warriors, but none like him.
"I'm familiar with each of these processes but one," says one technician to his superior, pointing to the display. "This particular section seems off-book."
"Indeed it is," the other replies. "The champion has a fairly specific manner in which he prepares for combat." The first technician stares at him expectedly. "He uses a now unpracticed form of meditation to prepare his mind."
"Intriguing. Do these auditory regulators imply...?"
"Yes," his superior confirms. "He listens to a long forgotten track. Hush now, it is time."
With a puff of steam, the hatch opens, and out climbs a towering man in heavy cybernetic armor, a helmet slung under his arm. His eyes are cold and dark and scars cover every inch of his face.
"My champion, I must know," the technician asks. "What is it you listen to to prepare your mind? Hymns of an old god? The terrible screams of your dying foes? What form of meditation would prepare the mind for slaughter?"
The other technician was mortified. "Silence! You must not tamper with the champion's mental state now that he has meditated!"
"Nonsense." The champion spoke in a deep, raspy voice. "It is a song from my past, thousands of years old. The melody reminds me that of our great empire, it is only I our enemies truly fear.
It is a song from Doom Eternal."

Out of everything I've painted, this fold up style pizza table might be my favorite. Top 3 for sure. PIZZA TABLES FOR THE EMPEROR
