a gender related to the term ‘yandere’ which is defined as ‘A trope, typically in anime, where theres a character who will go to near-extreme to extreme lengths to be in or deepen a desired relationship, weather it be romantic, platonic, familial, etc.’

Red:the dark red at the far top and bottom of the flag symbolise passion and love, but also anger and destruction.

Pinkish Magenta:next to the red, this colour symbolises the dark side of blossoming love, as pink is usually used for cute and happy things, but adding a dark tone to it making it seem sinister; much like the yandere trope.

Purple:purple is nearest to the middle, having a colder version of purple there. purple means harmony and a balance between forces, i thought it would fit with the theme :]

Black:the black is right in the middle, making it look darker than it already is— black means mystery, sadness and disturbance. Once again, it fits with the meaning of yandere.

a gender related to being hyperfixated on the game ‘YOU and ME and HER:a love story’. this game is also called ‘Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi’ and nicknamed ‘Totono’.

the colours of the flag relate to the two main characters (aside from the protaganist, shinchi), sone miyuki and aoi mukou. aoi’s pinkish-red colours are on the top, where as sone’s more purple colours are at the bottom, symbolising the fact that aoi was more important than sone story-wise.
