‎It’s such a beautiful trait of the Prophet ﷺ how he would give his undivided attention to those he would talk to. He wouldn’t just turn his face but he would turn his whole body and make everyone feel like they were his favourite. Something i think we tend to fall short in.

This is an abandoned sunnah that people have forgotten. The prophet Muhammad s.a.w would look up into the sky when leaving the house in the morning. He would say subhanallahi wabihamdihi. He said, looking into the sky it lowers you of your depression and anxiety and gives you serenity, peace, and clarity of thought, calms you down.

Inshallah, we all start doing this.

رَبَّنَآ أَتۡمِمۡ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَآۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ

“Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us. ˹For˺ You are truly Most Capable of everything.”

(Quran 66:8)

Sometimes, I'll write a blog and just erase it because the ones I erase are the ones that come from my heart.

Yesterday my cousin (who's like a brother to me) sent me a snap of him in a mosque waiting for namaz. I was so happy that I shed tears of joy literally. Iv been making dua for my family and friends saying bring them closer to Allah and seeing things like that brings me joy and feeling that my duas are accepted. Subhanallah

I've been on and off praying for the last couple of years. However, this year feels different. I've been praying since the end of last year, and I ain't going to stop inshallah!! I want to be better as a Muslim and closer to Allah, and that's my motivation, so whoever is struggling, just keep in mind that Allah comes running when you walk to him.

It's been a while, been a couple of rough months, but alhamdulilah for everything!

O Allah, we depend fully on Your mercy, so forgive us and show mercy upon us and do not let our sins or our shortcomings disqualify us from that mercy in this life or the next.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"Whoever recites a letter from Allah's Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter." [Tirmidhi] 🤍
