Egg cleanse. How to & their meaning!

Have you heard about egg cleanses? If you believe evil or someone is out to get you, this is a sure way to tell.

It's pretty simple!

Start by running your egg under water and setting your intention. Be specific with your intent.

Burn an incense or some herbs (frankincense :)) and let your egg run through the smoke.

Rub your egg on your body from your head to your toes. Focus on the egg absorbing the negative energy in your body.

Crack the egg into a glass of water.

Next, it's time to read your results.

Here are the meanings of an egg cleanse:

Bubble rising - Negativity

Figures in the yolk - Envy

Nails/Needles shapes - someone does not want you to succeed, you have an enemy

Coating on the yolk - someone is angering you

Red or black spots on the yolk - Illness/disease

Cloudy/Black/Gray yolk - Evil is near you

White halos around the yolk - making decisions too quickly

Clouds/swirls in yolk - people want you to fail

Bubbles around the yolk - good spirits are watching over you

Cobwebs - someone is jealous of you

Hello all, before I start I’d like to apologize for the poor pictures. My alter was slightly in shambles in the first one. (I have a very small space so I don’t really have a permanent alter, plus I’m still a “closeted” witch) 

Anyway I wanted to talk to you all about a spell that I preformed for a friend. Her dear pet recently passed away and she asked me to cast a spell to “bring her peace and have her cared for in the beyond.” 

I naturally immediately agreed (the loss of a animal friend is incredibly hard) 

after thinking about it this is the spell I did 

Peace For a Pets Pass

Ingredience

I used three white candles. one was simply to light the other two, It was already blessed and charged with energy. 

a pen or writing utensil of your choice (I used a quill)

 I set up an alter, but that is completely up to you 

a piece of paper, parchment, or anything you can write on that feels right

I charged this with crystals, the type is mostly irrelevant. I simply asked out loud which ones would be the most appropriate for her journey and I ended up with my large amethyst and a small orange cloudy gem which may or may not be a jasper? 

a fire proof bowl or cauldron (please always have water nearby when doing anything with fire

and lastly, salt

Also I had a bell but that’s not necessary so 

Step 1: 

Set up your alter and cleanse your area, before I started I cleaned the heck out of my room and lit a scented candle to clear my head.  

Step 2:

light your candles and place salt around everything. 

Step 3:

Write a note to said pet explaining that they are loved and that they shouldn’t be scared (of course personalize this as needed)

Step 4:

 choose a candle, there should be at least two. The one that you have chosen will be the guide that makes sure that your pet makes it safely to their destination. place a few grains of salt into this candle

Step 5: 

burn the letter with said candle so that they can get it and understand. this is the last active step really

step six:

ONLY blow out one candle, this shows that the ritual is over and ends your communications with the spirit, allowing it to leave. The other candle is to be  lit until it either runs out of wax or goes out on it’s own. This shows that they made it safely. I placed salt around the candle and the crystal right next to the candle for energy and protection

. aand that’s what I did! I apologize that everything wasn’t super duper specific or to the books. I mostly did what felt right and what I was told to do. This spell left the atmosphere in the room strangely positive at the end.

Lost pet spell

Pet gone missing? Want it home? This spell is just right for you! I recently had my pet go missing and it was heartbreaking, I used this spell and within 24 hours he was back home safely in my arms without a scratch! It’s easy but powerful, here it is…

Materials:

- candle (your favourite color)

- pets favourite toy/thing

- green aventurine or clear quartz crystals

Method:

- burn candle at your altar or sacred space with your pets favourite toy infront of the candle, enclosed in a green aventurine or clear quartz crystal circle

- as it burns repeat this chant three times:

‘my pet ——— is lost away, bring him/her home today, protect him/her from any harm, but therefore returning him/her right to my arms’

- let the candle burn out and you are done!

Little Rant

So ever since I came out as nonbinary I have been getting a lot of hate from people online and I just want to make some things clear. These people have no right to tell me what I am or how I should look. It does not matter if you believe that there are only two genders. It does not matter if you think I look like a boy or a girl. As long as I am comfortable in my own skin and happy with how I am expressing myself then there should be no problem. If you do not have the common decency to use they/them pronouns when asked then I don’t want you in my life. What I do with my body is non of your business and I never asked your openion in the first place.

Ways to get Closer to Your Craft

Open your curtains in the morning and look outside

Always try to stay grounded. Observe life around you

Make a list of the correspondences of certain soaps or other products that you have. Use a product with intent

Draw sigils

Chant in your head

Walk, sit, or lie down outside. Watch the plants dance in the wind and listen to your surroundings

Carry crystals or objects that mean a certain thing to you

Take time for yourself

Smile at strangers and visualize sending positive energy their way

Listen to music that represents your intent

Pick your outfits using colour magic

Light a candle

Do something for your community. By putting good things out, the universe will repay you

Try interpreting a tarot card for each day

Be creative. Find the magic in every day objects

Practice energy work

Meditate

Schedule days to go to the library and research plants, herbs, your religion, etc

Say thank you more often. Even when no one is there

Try to grow some plants

Have tea more often

Go outside!! I cannot stress this enough. Connect to nature. Go barefoot. Dance in the rain. Anything. Just go out

When hiking pick up things that call to you

Pick up trash. Give back to the planet

Take care and time for yourself

Be patient

Remember, its your craft. Do what feels right 🌱

Witch: magical practitioner

Elemental Witch: Witches who work around the 5 elements: Water, Earth, Air, Fire, and Spirit.

Earth Witch: Witches who specifically work with their magic around the element of Earth, through grounding exercises, rock/soil collecting, crystal magic, and Green Witchery. Earth zodiac signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

Types of Earth Witches:

Green Witch: use plants/herbs/flowers in herbal and natural magic, such as using them in spells and creating remedies with them.

Garden Witch: A version of a Green Witch, they enjoy working with the earth through gardening and using their herbs and plants to help and care for their families and loved ones.

Flora Witch: Similar to the above witches, they work with flowers in their practice. Their Book of Shadows would likely be full of Green Witchery, such as than herbs and herbal recipes, and flower classifications and associations.

Marijuana Witch: A type of Green Witch, Marijuana has been used for spiritual and medicinal purposes throughout history. These witches use marijuana for magical purposes and use herbal recipes with marijuana. 

Rock Witch: Witches who work with all rocks, including stones and crystals. They enjoy geology and their Book of Shadows is full of geology and crystal healing. They are most likely involved in a scientific field, such as geography or archaeology where they can be close to the Earth.

Crystal Witch: Witches who work with stones and crystals, such as through crystal healing. Their Book of Shadows will most likely have information about the stones, chakra balance, and crystal meditation.

Forest Witch: A witch who enjoys the company of trees and live amongst them. The seclusion is perfect for cottage magic and tree magic. They also enjoy the company of fey and woodland animals, and use local plants.

Swamp Witch: Witches who live within the swamps, use swamp plants, and enjoy the company of swamp animals.

Desert Witch: A witch who lives in the desert, enjoys the natural desert scenery, uses desert plants, bones, sand in their practice, collects desert rocks, and befriend desert animals such as snakes, lizards, and scorpions. They also tend to use the elements of Wind and Fire as well as Earth in their practice. They normally worship desert deities and study desert lore in their area.

Sand Witch: Sand witches live where a lot of sand is in the local earth, such as the desert or the beach. Their home is filled with different types of sand and rocks.
