I watch so many pm semour videos that I can recognize that shade of purple-pink-mauve that he always used as a background color in an instant. And, like some twisted version of Palov's dog, it makes my brain go, 'oh, time for the funny voice man from the internet' and I get legitimately upset when the good chemicals don't follow.

This is seriously causing me problems guys. My teacher used a color similar in a powerpoint presentation and I felt so fucking disappointed when nothing about ecological niches made me smile or laugh.

So I actually started writing this fanfic. It's on archive of our own, I'd link it here but I don't know how. The title is 'One Punch Gal'. Please check it out!

Okay, so…

I really like the anime/manga One Punch Man, because it’s so funny and subversive. I also really like realistic MC genderbent universes, ones where it isn’t just the same thing with switched pronouns or a different name, ones where the character who has been cis-swapped is experiencing things, seeing things, and generally being treated different than their canonical gendered self did. All of this comes to a point at my idea for a genderbent Saitama universe. I’ve seen stories and fanart of a version of her where she is objectified, which is probably something common to the Hero’s Association (I’ve noticed that the ratio of female to male heros is a bit skewered) But I itch to take this a step farther. Namely, a faux Damsel situation. (PS, some part of my headcannon involves a chance that this Saitama may have hair. If this upsets you, I completely understand. I’m sorry, it’s just one version of the idea, please don’t kill me.) This version of a fem!Saitama is still ridiculously strong to the point that everything is boring, but also still quite conventionally attractive. Because of the differences in male/female hormones, her hair stayed in but turned white as a sheet (so white, it’s basically transparent when wet), so monsters/civilians/other heros that see her walking away or from a certain angle sometimes just think that she’s an old lady, only to completely shock them. (Her hair also becomes impermeable, just like her skin. No dye product can tint it, and she can’t get it cut. This is still a major sore point.) Apon joining the Association, many people assume she’s playing a femme fatale/sex symbol angle to get popular /attention, but completely mind-fucks everyone when she shows that she is not only competent but also in a league above all the male brawler heros. It’s not clear sailing though. She still gets stuck in Class C, still gets accused of cheating (a healthy mix of ‘There’s no way that chick is strong than me��� and 'You’ve seen who she hangs out with, all S-Class and top-rankers, she’s clearly sleeping her way to the top’) and still suffers from the severe case of onwee that infects canon Saitama and all his variants, but add in sexism, creepy guys, and the satisfaction of blowing away a monster some tank top guy got captured by in a failed attempt to impress you with one single barely-trying punch in front of his hilarious shocked face. And blank resting face. Hair or no hair, daed eyes and neutral stare are essential. Let me know if anyone is willing to read/write this fanfic, if you have your own ideas or suggestions, or any headcanons on how this would be I’d seriously like imput. (No one yell at me for suggesting hair please. I understand that it’s a touchy subject and hope I haven’t upset you too much.)
