Before heading to a long trek in the high mountains, of Sierra Nevada, by casualty, I assisted to the wedding of a couple who hike there to get married by a Mano in a Kogi Village. I could not resist to propose them to take a few pictures to record this unforgettable day. But, who is in the dark ??? - It is my friend Pedro ! Yess he is back ! ;-) While I was taking the picture, I had a surprising visit during this night.: A donkey appeared in the darkeness, and stared at mi, as surprised as I was. He kept still during half of the shot and then kept moving, giving him a ghost shape on the pic. There are no other subspecies like this in the world - We made a few hours hike to arrive in a village in the canyon, where they never had received foreigners for sleeping before. They live from cultivating melons, tobacco and goats catering ? The only problem is that the costs eats all the Ceiba baby trees ?, and I'd now in voice of Extinction... Once again our meat consuption is damaging Earth biodiversity...

These are the last shots from my canon 5D mark III before it dies. All shots were made blindly without seeing the result in camera's screen, and just controlling aperture a shutter speed. All other buttons blocked. But it is still a very good exercise.

parque tayrona barlovento magdalena colombia - Find the Crocodiles ! Despite it looks so peaceful, signs are warning that there are some Caimans living in the area. Last year 2 people were beaten. The more incredible is that when it happened, they where talking about the famous movie "Jaws" and the caiman suddenly catched the leg of one of these, trying to bring him in the deeper water. Fortunately he was saved by his friends and still can walk normally. landscape picture colombia choco bahia solano sunset - "Happy new year everybody : Bonne année ! 🎉 Peaceful landscape in Choco, and first photo of the year from Pacific Coast. This is one of my preferred region in Colombia. No internet, only nature to reconnect. I didn't have tripod for this shot, but tried to stablize it on my camera bag. I hope you like it ! Kogui Indigenous Child - Colombia - Sierra Nevada - High Spirits Photo of a young kogui child taken in the coca leaves. I just had an idea to take a pic in this coca leaves one day, as this plant is so sacred for the Kogui Tribe. I had in mind the old album Front Cover of Petor Tosh taken in Jamaica. Indeed, This little friend did naturally a better pose that I could expect. I really enjoy the result and the soft light on this one.

Chicamocha in Guane Indigenal language means Silver River. When we contemplate it from this river we totally understand how they got this poetic idea ! This pic was taken after an 8 hour hike inside the canyon, an incredible no man's land, That's why I love so much Colombia
