So about this project. For awhile now I’ve noticed almost every single time I see a darker skinned black woman “going viral”, she’s half naked, oiled up, and/or sexualized in some way shape or form. It’s very rarely ever “Look at this amazing dark skinned woman who accomplished this thing.” Or “Look at her smile, she’s gorgeous”.  Please don’t misinterpret what I’m saying. There is nothing wrong with darker women and black women in general being free and expressive about their sexuality and provocative features. BUT that is NOT ALL they are. They are so much more than sexual beings, but for some reason, that seems to be almost the only thing that grabs viral appreciation. So here’s my attempt to have darker skinned black women go viral for just being cute, creative, stylish, bubbly, beautiful, and black. Aside from the videographer EVERYONE involved in this project IS A BLACK WOMAN. I hope you guys like it. I ask that if you enjoyed this and agree with my objective, share it with a few people please.

This is where I spend most of my time if not all of it. I've been working on my Twitch for gaming which is my primary thing but now that it's pretty solidly set up, I'm falling back into getting comfortable enough to doodle etc while I charge my iPad. I don't celebrate Thanksgiving because I don't have the time to go visit family and of course there's work (Retail + Black Friday = You Get The Picture). Anywho, today I've been watching @rawsueshii teach me about using color in Procreate and although she doesn't believe it, this was explained very nicely and I feel like trying some colors later on if I have time. Sorry I haven't been posting but I work retail and black Friday is too close to have any time off 😩 I finally got my new PC to complete my happy place of gaming/drawing/streaming so that's a big deal. I have just found out that Twitch connected to the iPad will stream without any extra apps now and I'm super excited to try it. I know it’s a really simple Inktober for “Breakable” but this one personifies so much. Today was absolute trash, someone has been over analyzing what I’ve said and told others close to me that I did something I didn’t do and now there’s a big dramatic situation over someone not asking me if what I said was serious - which shouldn’t have even been a question from anyone who knows me smh. So the little balance I have was completely thrown off today by that, I didn’t go to work, I just sat by myself and cried. My boyfriend tried but left me alone like I asked and my other friends are with me out drinking right now. This image though, it’s how I feel. I’ve always been 100% myself and someone asks me to change that?? It’s like a threat to everything I am and I won’t put up with it. Say you have an issue or don’t worry about me, it’s that simple. Especially if you’re going to end up fighting other people over it. Just, no. We are all breakable, that doesn’t mean you get to make it worse because you broke already. Alright, so, sorry I’ve had a super shitty stressful overworked week but I did do things. I was just too exhausted to post them 😩 so here is the past five Inktober days in order: “Weak” - because I hate being sick. “Angular” - because my good friend @morganbarbour is an extremely talented woman who is super inspiring and so is the photographer for this image @jasperyoga. “Swollen” - because I 1000% work too damn much and need a vacation. “Bottle” - because although I have reasons to be an alcoholic, I’m not...yet. “Scorched” - because @dragoon122002 is so loving and supportive, especially on my bad days.
