Lolol Idia has basically made ramshackle into his future private petting zoo once he has his whole team of cat Pokémon, let Idia pet the cats!!! He would love sprigatito! He loves this funky little weed kitty!!!

haha, yep!! since Idia loooooves cats like Grim and Lucius, I'd naturally assume he'd feel the same way about Meowth. he'd love love love Sprigatito for sure!!

Jack, after a moment of silence, asked cautiously, “You guys some kind of sea serpent, or what?” “If I were to guess, I’d say some kind of eels,” Yuu put in, which got a sigh out of him and an eye roll from Floyd. His twin clapped his hands, sounding pleased, but not exactly surprised. “Why, correct again. We are Moray eels, if you were curious.” “Sand.” We weren’t, actually. Yuu bit her bottom lip, hating herself for feeling giddy inside. “I was.”

“—The last thing I remember was getting punched.” Yuu rubbed her chin, where the Smeargle had struck her. “And getting Sleep Powdered, and then I was out like a light.” 

“Sleep Powder— That is a Pokémon Move, am I correct?” 

“Yeah, that’s right,” she explained, pleased to elaborate, “It makes the target fall asleep immediately on contact. I can’t believe I slept for four days straight, though! Thank goodness your dorm leader came in when he did. I’ll have to thank him if I ever see him.” 

“My… dorm leader,” he repeated with a strange look on his face, like he couldn’t follow. 

“You know, Malleus Draconia? I remember seeing lightning before I fell asleep.” It was a shame that she didn’t get to see the man for himself. It didn’t help that when Cater enthused about him, he only talked about how powerful that guy was, and nothing about what he looked like at all.

“Ah, of course. Him.” Tsunotarou smiled coyly, and try as she might, she couldn’t decipher what it meant. “I will be sure to pass on your words. I’m sure he will appreciate it.” 

“Yeah, I bet all the other Heartslabyul students are grateful too, not just me,” Yuu nodded with certainty. She worried her bottom lip as the contents of the dream from earlier that morning resurfaced. “But I do wish he took a little bit easier on the poor thing.”

He stared at her, obviously not expecting her to say such a thing. “Oh? I was under the impression that retaliation against the creature was justified.”

“I mean, it is,” she said, crossing her arms, “But Cater-senpai— oh, that’s one of my friends, by the way— He told me that your dorm leader, quote en quote, practically fried the Smeargle to death. Apparently, it fainted on the spot.”

“That is… true, I heard,” he supposed, his brows knitting together ever so slightly. “Are you, perhaps, resentful of him?” 

“Ah— no, of course not! Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for your dorm leader, I really am.” Yuu waved her hands defensively. “But I think striking its neck would be just as effective, you know? I mean, who would electrocute a Smeargle like that?” 

“Ah… Indeed. How crass of him,” he nodded in agreement, his eyes narrowing and his smile widened, “Perhaps… my dorm leader did go a little too far.”

SO REAL ‼‼ I do plan on having more interactions between Yuu + Diasomnia in the future, but like with everything (cough cough Octavinelle arc) going on I have no idea when I'll have the chance to. but Lilia and Mamoswine must meet!!

Ooooohhhhh Will there any be a possibility of Yuu taking care of a pokemon egg?

yes, definitely! an egg's gonna show up at one point or another in the story, I think. Yuu might take care of it, but if there's so much going on I might just pass it on to another character to take care of in the background.

I can't wait to roll out more lore and backstory in the future! to be honest, Yuu's gender isn't the biggest part of the plot but I hope that everyone who finds out about it gives you a laugh (when they react to Yuu's real gender)! as of the current chapter only Heartslabyul and Savanaclaw are in the know. hope this helps!

hi, so I'm the author of a TWST fanfic, putting my own spin on the series' main character, Yuu, who is a Pokémon trainer! I just wanted to make this fic easier to find, thus posting a link to it here.
